About Dormimundo
Depósitos de Fábrica cambia su nombre a Depósitos Dormimundo. Abriendo sus oficinas en la sexta tienda de la cadena, ubicada en Av. Viaducto No. 44 Col. Narvarte.
En 1974, las oficinas se cambian a la colonia Granjas México, sede actual. Se abren 3 tiendas mas. En la colonia Portales, Jardín Balbuena y Del Valle.
Este año se registra la marca “Dormimundo”.
En 1975 abren su tercera fábrica, SPUM, dedicada a la fabricación de colchones de espuma. Los cuales comenzaron a comercializar en las tiendas de la cadena. Posteriormente fundan la empresa Plega Export, dedicada a la elaboración de herrajes para muebles como los sofá-camas. Herrajes que comenzaron a exportar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésimo servicio, recibí el colchón con manchas, intentó reportar y no contestan, después de varios intentos logró hacer mi reporte y me dicen que tengo que esperar a que pase el supervisor y esto puede tardar 25 días hábiles, que es el proceso!. Creo que dentro de su proceso, no deben de considerar las casas de los clientes como bodega de resguardo, ya que no todas las personas tenemos espacio disponible para este tipo de cosas, además se supone que son una empresa sería y algo cara por cierto, para el servicio y la atención que dan, en especial está sucursal.

Compre dos colchones en esta tienda. En uno de ellos me equivoque en el tamaño, y me di cuenta en cuanto me lo entregaron. Llame en ese momento, con el colchón dentro de su empaque y completamente nuevo y les pedí hacer un cambio de tamaño pagando por supuesto la diferencia. El vendedor fue sumamente grosero, me dijo que era mi error y yo debía conocer mis muebles. Al día siguiente me dijo que era posible cambiarlo si yo pagaba 20% extra. Cuando le dije que no y que que mal servicio de DORMIMUNDO me grito por teléfono hasta que tuve que colgar.
A terrible experience.
I bought two mattresses in this store. In one of them I made a mistake in the size, and I realized as soon as it was delivered to me. I called at that moment, with the mattress inside its packaging and completely new, and I asked them to make a change in size, paying of course the difference. The seller was extremely rude, telling me that it was my mistake and I should know my furniture. The next day he told me that it was possible to change it if I paid an extra 20%. When I told him no and what a bad service from DORMIMUNDO he yelled at me on the phone until I had to hang up.
