DoubleTree in Santa Fe, Mexico City is always a nice place to visit any time of the year. The staff are kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I had a small issue on this stay which wasn't fully resolved to my satisfaction. I was told upon check-in by Cynthia that breakfast would be included in the room I purchased. I didn't think this was correct, but I trusted the guidance of the staff, and the following morning before I checked out I proceeded to go to breakfast with my girlfriend and I. We finished our meal, and was told at the end that breakfast was NOT included. This was a major disappointment because upgrading to breakfast included on the hilton website was only like $3USD more. Which was more then fair considering the breakfast quality and good service. Unfortunately, it turns out Cynthia provided the wrong information and breakfast was NOT included on our reservation. We were forced to pay $540 MXN for our breakfast instead of the $3 upgrade/night it showed on the website. That's about $27 USD for a breakfast for two people, not bad but I was informed it was included, we could have done something else but I had no idea I would be forced to pay! Luckily I contacted the desk and the desk spoke with management and they agreed to give me a 50% off discount on the meal, but I am still paying much more then I should have, because again, I was informed the breakfast would be included. So $13.50 USD for two people I didn't want to cause any further issues so I agreed to pay for the meal at 50% off, thanks to the help of management. Cynthia should be held accountable for the mistake she made, instead of me having to pay for breakfast. If I was told breakfast was NOT included, I wouldn't have ate breakfast here, instead I could have gone out to the many eateries in the area and paid much less for much better food. Besides this issue, the hotel was clean, staff was kind, and everything else went well. I just wish they could have accepted the mistake and waived the charge for breakfast instead of making me pay. The last thing I would want to do is be the "greedy American" trying to scam for some free breakfast. I just trusted the words of Cynthia when I checked in, and I made my decision based on that info. Thanks for the great pool, gym, and clean facilities throughout the building. Kind staff and good service overall.

A gorgeous hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great value and amenities, and delicious food. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Special shout out to Juan the custodian for his hospitality and courtesy!

Love this hotel! The staff is excellent from the front desk to the restaurant. Even with all the Covid restrictions, the hotel did a great job making us feel at home and safe. The pool was awesome as were the clean rooms. Will be back!

Fabulous hotel. Facilities are comprehensive, service is fantastic, all the staff make you feel really welcome. Recently joined HHonours and did a status match, upgraded when I got here to an executive room, free breakfast, so not only is the product excellent but it represents fabulous value too. Hilton have really impressed me with the benefits they offer and the quality of their hotels. This is my first stay in Mexico City, when I come back i will definitely come back here.

Uncooperative and inefficient staff. A hotel with no great amenities, and overly priced. I have been over charged for my stay at the hotel despite the mutually agreed terms and conditions. The hotel Manager is extremely rude, disrespectful and highly arrogant. He does not value a corporate customer and usually forgets the conversations done. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone for stay unless you want to get ripped off. Beginning with the Hotel Management till the cab service, everyone will try to make money from you knowing that you are a foreigner. and having no respect and business ethics for corporate customers like us. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Despite the excellent service provided by the hotel staff, the valet agent was negligent and disrespectful to my wife and I would like the hotel managment to take this very seriously. Regardless of my Diamond member status, I expect all customers to be treated in with respect, especially if the customer is a woman traveling on their own with kids. In two different moments my wife and I contacted the hotel prior making the reservation and prior arrival, even I left a personal note on the Hilton's app to ask for permission to park our vehicle ourselves because in the last recent stay on the same hotel our vehicle showed an issue with the drive transmission right after the valet drove it back to us. Since the begining, the valet agent attitud was rude to my wife refusing to allow her to park the car herself. After the hotel staff had a word with the valet agent my wife was able to park the car. Despite the reservation was for 2 nights, the valet agent was rudely asking my wife to pay the valet service. He insisted continuously until my wife confronted him verbally and that made him stop. ...I'm sure the this dude wouldn't have had the same luck if I had been present. I trust the hotel management understand this situation and puts some actions in place to avoid this to happen again in the future to any customer. After staying in other Hilton hotels around the world, I know the Hilton company look into this sort of issues very thoroughly, so I trust this case won't be overlooked. Thank you.

This hotel has an extremely good location. The building is a flagship work of extremely fine architecture in Santa Fe, Mexico City. The views from the rooms are incredibly beautiful .The staff is extraordinary. I recommend this to everyone wanting to have a great time while in Mexico city .
