DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Veracruz - 91900 Veracruz

I'm a frequent traveler. This was my first time at Double Tree ? Veracruz and it went beyond amazing. The service, THE FOOD, the rooms, the staff and the cleanliness of the building are EXCELLENT. Not the typical 2 star trashy breakfast buffet, their Breakfast Buffet is from another world prepared and served by a TERRIFIC CHEF!! The breakfast dishes are a tour around the Mexican Cuisine. From Perfectly made empanadas to delicious brunch meals. Im not joking, the food here is amazing! AND!!!! They hire people with special needs and disabilities, they give opportunities to women, young students and seniors so their staff is happy and treats you with so much respect and love which makes this place SO SO SPECIAL and lovely. PLEASE stay there this place is now one of my favorite places away from home. I will stay here from now on every time I come to Veracruz. I honestly think that the quality of the services provided here is beyond amazing. They make you feel pampered, special and at home!!! A high quality hotel at a great location at a good price!! SERVICE, SAFETY, QUALITY and CLASS! Don't ever Change Doubletree By Hilton Veracruz, you guys are THE BEST! LOVE DENISSE?

4 cockroaches in just 30 seconds of walking into our hotel room…. This is not acceptable. The entire building is infested. We just spent $3000 pesos on dinner and are disgusted. Our luggage will be infested with roaches.. They want to solve it by moving us to a different room that will still be infested…?? How does that help…. Then we checked in so late and it is already almost 11pm. Then cleanliness… they say they clean for COVID but just with picking up a roach, I picked up 5 hairs. Then with wiping up 6 inches of an edge of the bathroom floor, a lot of dust and hair came up. We pay to be in a Hilton and not an Airbnb because we expect more and want more comfort on our precious vacation time with the kids. The dinner menu was terrible as well. Not much selection and overly priced.

People that work here are very nice and accomodating. My experience was good at the hospitality level. Now, the hotel needs to be remodeled. All furniture is old, maybe 20 years or more. The AC units need to be looked at. Mine kept me up at night. We had cockroach issues the first night, had to move rooms a couple times, hardly english speaking. Beds are okay. The room isnt very clean and unsure about the Hilton covid cleaning. The food in hotel bar area is so-so. Don't recommend it and it's very pricey. Go outside and support the many small restaurants not on Google or any socials. I will not stay at this hotel again .. Hilton management needs to pay attention to this hotel.

I expected much more from 4 starts hotel. The first room we got had mould on curtains. We were offered 4 more rooms and only the last one didn’t have it. Still you could feel that everything is old, windows are dirty and one was broken (you couldn’t open it). Pool was good. Breakfast too, good fresh omelette. Staff friendly.

Nice place comfy beds. The hotel restaurant was at best average as far as quality food goes

When we arrived the hotel didn't look like the pictures, I was not pleased but we decided to stay and it turned into a wonderful experience. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it. Clean rooms, delicious food, excellent service ??

This is a very nice hotel! The restaurant, bar, pool and gym are nice. The staff is also very nice. My only complaint is that the water in the shower gets lukewarm at best...and that's after letting it run for 5 minutes or so. The location is great! The beach is directly across the street and in 20 minutes or less in either direction out the front door, you're in the middle of everything!
