Beautiful, clean hotel centrally located just a block from Zocalo. Gorgeous rooms with exposed brick and high ceilings with a balcony overlooking the street. The service was unbelievable- my wife and I were there for our honeymoon and the staff made sure we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Jesus! You are the best!

I should have read the reviews more closely because I agree with what other people have said. There are no windows! I've never stayed in a hotel room that had no windows before. Absolutely awful. To enter, you have to pass through a busy restaurant, where I almost got ran over by a waiter. Service staff was friendly and bellman was helpful. But the room was one of the worst I've stayed in. Bad lights, no power outlets at the desk (had to unplug the refrigerator and snake a cord up the back), bad bathroom design (water leaked everywhere since there was no lip on the shower). It was also extremely noisy. The thump of dance music from the upstairs terrace didn't stop until 3am. Should have stayed at the Gran (they were unfortunately full).

This review is for the terrace and not the hotel. The view is nice, 4/5 stars. We went on March 12th at around 3:30 pm for a late lunch. I’d appreciate it if the management were to contact me after reading this post. Our food was ok, similar to a US chain Mexican restaurant and certainly disappointing considering all of the incredible options nearby. The atmosphere is fine but don’t expect NYC, Miami or similar. Small and basic. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco with a menu price of 580, however the bill showed 950. After arguing a bit the manager explained the menu hasn’t been updated in 3 months but 950 is the true price. Very suspicious. They accepted the lower price and we paid and left. Honestly, the only bad experience I’ve had in Mexico City. This area and lounge is like the Times Square of Mexico City. Go to Condesa, Roma or Polenco and don’t waste your time.

This hotel is beautiful and all the servers at the restaurants were amazing. It’s only one star though for a few reasons: the balcony doors (only window) go out onto a main street in the center. The AC in the room did not work so I had to leave the door opened at night and it was insanely loud. It was hot and loud and hard to sleep. I got quite a few mosquito bites at night as well. The bed, or maybe it was more the sheets they use, are insanely stiff and uncomfortable. The WiFi is not very stable either which was a problem because I had to work from home some days. It was also strange that they had a public party on the rooftop during the day. I was looking forward to laying out by the pool, one of the reasons I chose this hotel, but couldn’t do it. Lastly, due to unforeseen circumstances I needed to check out a day earlier. Expedia, who I booked though, had been trying to contact them since the day I checked in. They never responded and then when I went to speak to the hotel from desk they wouldn’t help me and just said they would charge me anyways because they “already did their forecasts for the month.” A few hundred dollars done the drain.

The room is dark and has no windows. Of course the lights are not strong enough to light up the room cause they want to make a "luxury" retro vibe. So the room seems dark and haunted. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we barely could fall asleep. What's worst, for the room we stayed there is no separation between bath and bed. So it almost flooded the whole room after a shower !!! What a stupid design! The only good thing is the breakfast. Yes it is small but definitely not luxury.

I stayed in the hostel for just two nights. What a terrible setup. Inside the dormitory style rooms there's absolutely no ventilation at all besides two windows. So if the room is packed full of people you're gonna melt. On top of that since the bugs are ravenous you'll get eaten alive. The outlets are terrible as well. My charger kept falling out. On a positive note the showers have hot water and you get an extremely basic breakfast. I'd recommend that they put mesh screens over the windows and install a couple ceiling fans to have some form of airflow. I would not recommend.

Can’t say enough about this boutique hotel in the center of Mexico City. The property is totally unique with 17 quaint guest rooms and a well-trained staff that fully understands hospitality. From the start, it was very clear that the front desk manager, Jesús Chavez, was going to do everything possible to make our stay exceptional. He and his staff made sure that our entire visit was filled with satisfaction and enjoyment. The property is unique, beautiful and truly memorable. The breakfast lounge has many options and the rooftop restaurant is perfect for lighter meals and drinks. There are also two independent restaurants on the property that serve amazing food. A big plus is the location of the hotel which is within walking distance to parks, museums, shopping and endless dining options. Most importantly, the entire staff was outstanding and very eager to provide professional service throughout our entire stay.

We came here for our honeymoon and were so happy with our choice. The staff are so helpful and proactive. The restaurant is great. It has a lovely pool and terrace on the roof with decent drinks and bar snacks. The room: we got a suite. It was dark and quiet and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room is a little dark with no main lights but worth it for the amenities, space, design and impeccable cleaning. I can't speak for the standard rooms, but we personally had such a lovely experience
