Amazing doctor, great results!

Incredible! First, if you're reading this, you probably already understand why so many people leave the US to save a huge ton of money and get much better surgery and service abroad, so I wont go into all of that. I did a LOT of research into doctors all over Mexico and South Africa and looked into a few other places in Central and South America. Dr. Guerrero Torres was chosen from a personal recommendation of a family member who had work done with him and they looked amazing. Plus the idea of recovering in Puerto Vallarta had some appeal! As I said, I consulted with several doctors anyway and was surprised by the very different surgical recommendations - one even suggested drilling out my eye sockets to make my eyes appear larger! The profile picture on here is about 7 years old and I didnt look too much different when I went for this surgery, so you judge if I should have had someone grind away at my brow bones. OMG Another doctor wanted to do a massive facelift with eyes and forehead. I have little or no drooping on my eyelids, no eyebags, no reason for all of that I was unimpressed with those extreme measures and did not want to look plastic when I was finished. Anyway, Dr G as I will call him, gave me the exact recommendation that I believed I needed, without me saying a word. I had very minor jowls with the earliest stages of loose neck skin. He suggested a jowl and neck lift and a little tightening of the cheek muscle to hold things in place. That was exactly what I had thought I needed. In fact, most people thought I was crazy to get a facelift. However I have always read that getting them when you still have elasticity and very little extra skin will give you better, longer lasting results and you will age more gracefully. Exactly what I want. So I planned to do it between 45 and 50 I am 49 The surgery went extremely smoothly and while I am still very swollen, my face looks and feels fine. He ended up making even smaller incisions than we originally expected and he removed the fat pocket from under my chin so I won't ever get that Turkey neck thing! The service has been first class. Dr. G's English is good, not 100% fluent, but communication was fairly easy and he has staff who is fluent so when there was something that we couldn't get, they quickly interpreted. I felt incredibly safe and comfortable. I have to be fair and say I speak nada Spanish...absolutely nada. Since the surgery, he has come to check on me several times and is always pleasant and easy to talk to. I am not gonna lie, when I saw his picture online I thought he looked very Mexican-Macho and expected him to have one of those booming Spanish TV male voices that over enunciates and rolls their Rs just a little too long! Ha. Not even at all. Dr. Guerrero Torres is very gentle and his demeanor is modest and genuine. You will love him!

I had the best care under Dr. Guerrero Torres and the CMQ nurse staff. I had liposuction a tummy tuck and fat transfer all at once so I decided to add on a few days of hospital care there at Premier CMQ . I had a room all to myself (201) it was so spacious, I had my own bathroom with shower and a somewhat comfy couch for my husband to sleep on while I was staying there. They even had soft fluffy blankets for both of us. Air conditioning in the room was amazing. If you know PV weather, it’s awfully humid and hot most days at a time , but this room made me feel far from it. The food was simple and healthy but delicious. I feel like they went far and beyond to make me comfortable as possible. They rushed to my every need with a click of a call button. I’m happy I came here. I wish I would have stayed more days at the hospital because they really took care of me. The Dr came in to check on me and also came by my room if I needed to ask any questions. Everyone was very attentive.

I cannot believe that I have not already left a review! I had a facelift with Dr. G (not his choice of nicknames, I call him that) about a year ago. I was 49 about to turn 50 and had known forever that I wanted a facelift between 45 and 50 just because I know that they help you age better. I had spoken with several other doctors and they all gave me wildly different advice one even wanted to drill out my eye sockets. Dr. G suggested exactly the procedures that I felt I needed, a little lift, nothing too aggressive. It turned out very natural and quite beautiful. I am extremely happy. He was caring and kind and although his English was not perfect, he communicates well and has staff who can communicate the nuances that are lost if need be. Definitely trust him and am back for another procedure right now! Not a facelift or revision, something else that I wanted. I may update after it is completed

In spite of many attempts I was not even able to get through to his office. The hospital bounced me around 5 times and no one seemed to know who this Dr. even was. The numbers on his website fail. If you can't even reach him for a simple consultation imagine if you needed to speak to him post surgery!

A year and a half later I went back to Dr Guerrero for round 2. This time I had a thigh and arm lift, lipo and bbl. Once again Dr Guerrero and his team provided superior care! They are just so wonderful. I am extremely pleased with my results from both of my surgeries. I cannot say enough good things about them. I had 4 big babies and had a weight loss of 100 lbs. I had a mommy make over with Dr. Guerrero. I had a very good experience. He was very nice and professional. His nurse was very knowledgeable and helpful. They went out of their way to make me happy. I have had very good results from this surgeon. I would recommend him.
