David Rosas, MD, attended an International undergraduate education in Mexico City and Michigan, U.S. , also being grandson of an American citizen, made him comfortable with different cultures and fluent in English, Spanish and French.

He attended Medical School at Westhill University. He started his residence program at Hospital Español, Mexico city graduating with honors and being named Chief of Residents. That followed an academic stay (fellowship) of Sports Medicine at Boston Children´s Hospital , Boston Massachusetts, Harvard Medical School program under the tutelage of Dr. Mininder Kocher. After that he attended for 20 months a subspecialty program in Joint / arthroscopic surgery of Shoulder and knee. He practiced at the most renowned Medical centers in Mexico city for 3 years, including ABC medical center, Hospital Español, Hospital Angeles, Hospital Starmedica. Then he decided to move to Puerto Vallarta where he started practicing 3 years ago at Hospital San Javier now named Hospital Joya as member of the staff of orthopeadic surgeons. There is where we found interest in the treatment of international patients.
He has performed around 1000 Knee/Hip Replacement Surgeries in the past 7 years, and is now considered one of the best surgeons in the region with Stryker implant techniques. He also performs Arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder.
He finds his passion in serving his patients with the best and most updated orthopedic procedures.

He published several papers on an internationally/ nationally renowned Medical Journals. He served as a teacher for undergraduate students as he has always felt the need of sharing he knowledge to new generations.At the moment he is one of the most experienced surgeons of the region.
