Lo que no me parece nada agradable es la secretaría, esta mas preocupada por ver la televisión y muy desesperada a la hora de explicar. :/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fuimos a consulta con el Dr. Vela porque a mi esposa le dolía mucho la rodilla. El diagnóstico basado en 2 radiografías de rodilla, fue el fémur desviado; la solución una cirugía donde había que crear una fractura en ambas piernas para enderezar la unión del fémur en la rodilla.
Nos preocupamos mucho y pedimos una segunda opinión en Monterrey. Nos dijeron que necesitábamos una resonancia para ver los tejidos blandos y no solamente los huesos.
Encontramos que el problema es un quiste en los meñiscos y la solución es mucho más simple que crear fractura en ambas piernas.
Moraleja para el Dr: antes de diagnosticar, tener más estudios para poder dar un diagnóstico certero y no alarmar a los pacientes que si se quedan con la primer opinión pudimos haber decidido operar con el y ahora tendría a mi esposa con ambas piernas fracturadas y el quiste dando la misma molestia.
We went to see Dr. Vela because my wife's knee hurt a lot. The diagnosis based on 2 knee X-rays was the deviated femur; the solution was surgery where a fracture had to be created in both legs to straighten the joint of the femur in the knee.
We were very concerned and asked for a second opinion in Monterrey. We were told that we needed an MRI to see the soft tissues and not just the bones.
We found that the problem is a cyst in the little bones and the solution is much simpler than creating a fracture in both legs.
Moral for the Dr: before diagnosing, have more studies to be able to give an accurate diagnosis and not alarm the patients that if they stayed with the first opinion we could have decided to operate with him and now I would have my wife with both broken legs and the cyst giving the same discomfort.
