★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La atención recibida por parte del Dr fue buena, desde que llega uno, se siente en confianza, el único detalle es la clínica, me toco mucha gente para acceder al elevador, hay que hacer cola a pesar de que son 4 elevadores (tanto para subir como para bajar) y también le batalle para encontrar estacionamiento.
The attention received from the Dr was good, since one arrives, you feel confident, the only detail is the clinic, I had to have a lot of people to access the elevator, you have to queue despite the fact that there are 4 elevators (both for going up as well as going down) and also struggle to find parking.

Tiene una gran calidad humana y desde el principio explica con mucha paciencia y te hace sentir como si fueras su único paciente. Además de que su diagnóstico y lo que nos recetó fue de lo más eficaz. El mejor oftalmólogo que hay en el estado sin dudarlo.
Dr. Montiel is an excellent person, from the treatment to the details in his diagnosis. He has a great human quality and from the beginning he explains with great patience and makes you feel as if you were his only patient. In addition to that his diagnosis and what he prescribed us was most effective. The best ophthalmologist in the state without hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an American I know that getting LASIK in Mexico can be scary so let me say this is the best place and I would travel hours to see Dr Jose. Also I’ll give you my honest opinion.
1. He will work around your schedule.
2. You have access to him 24/7 for any questions
3. He will not operate on you if you’re not a good candidate. Seriously I was a little nervous so he canceled the operation brought be back for free and re did the examine and would not do it unless I was 100% comfortable. Seriously no need to worry it will be like going to a doctor in the US. Just in Spanish and a little different.
4. Everything was clean and fast, and told me exactly what would happen. Within 12 hours I could see 100x better.
5. There are 3 visits with the surgery so plan a month if you can but he will get it down within 2-3 days of you coming and you can do the last (3rd) visit in the states so plan at least 2 weeks if you can.
My advice bring someone that speaks Spanish just as the front desk may or may not speak English and the center they operate in doesn’t either. His English is good enough so no worries if yours isn’t. He is a very soft and lovely person and will recommend all my friends that go there.
