Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales - 64620 Monterrey

Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales was an excellent doctor for my BBPV. I had such a bad case I could not stand without vomiting. He understood the vertigo causes right away, explained everything in detail, and did the necessary maneuvers for the particular type I was experiencing. He was kind, intelligent and had a great manner about him. He speaks great English, but I recommend him for his thorough, intelligent, and kind care that solved my problem in one visit. I very highly recommend him - and I've had lots of experiences in the USA medical system with doctors! Thank you Dr. Sales!

Dr. Rafael Sales was very professional and answer any questions we had regarding my husbands surgery, he can now not only breathe better but his nose looks amazing, I'll recommend him to anyone I can, he provided us with his personal cellphone number for any questions he had after the surgery and I was AMAZED when I called and he answer and it was the weekend, and not mention he speak english. We were very pleased not only with the results but with the care and attention we received from him and his staff. Great Dr.

After a year of neck and deep ear pain, other symptoms, and countless doctor's appointments in the US, I decided to visit Dr. Moreno Sales during a recent visit to Monterrey. I completed an initial consultation, a CT scan, and follow up. Not only was I able to quickly schedule the appointments, but he gave me his time, listened attentively, didn't act like "it was all in my head" like most other doctors have done, thoroughly examined me, and patiently discussed this thoughts and findings with me both verbally and visually. I left his office feeling cared for and with a treatment plan. Now a week later, I feel better than I have all year, both physically and mentally, and will continue with the treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Moreno Sales.

I came down from San Antonio Texas, to visit Dr. Rafael for a Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty, as well as a Mentoplasty. From the first consultation, the assistant was very friendly/attentive and was there to answer any questions I had. As for Dr. Rafael, he is fluent in English/Spanish/French which was great for me since English is my dominate language, therefore we were able to communicate perfectly without any confusion. Surgery and recovery went great and I’m currently loving the results. Physically, Dr. Rafael gave me exactly what I wanted and functionality wise, I can finally breathe better which is a relief! Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales is a great and friendly doctor that I recommend to anyone looking for an Otolaryngologist.

I flew down to Monterrey, N.L. about a month ago from Oklahoma for Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales to do my rhinoplasty. I had compromised breathing from narrow nasal passages, interior nasal valve collapse when I inhaled, and a very large and masculine nose. He performed a functional and esthetic rhinoplasty on me. I had an amazing experience. My initial video consultation was via WhatsApp. I do not speak Spanish, but he speaks English very well and the video consultation reassured me that he was the surgeon for me. I flew into Monterrey and stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel that is right by the Doctors Hospital he works out of. I was able to easily use Uber to travel to my pre-operative appointments. Uber in Mexico is much cheaper and an excellent way to get around the city. I initially planned to drive to Monterrey, but I am glad that I chose to fly and use Uber instead. Traffic in Monterrey is quite heavy. I went to Mexico by myself (and I don't speak Spanish), but was able to use Google Translate on my phone when needed. I went to Monterrey three days before my scheduled surgery to have time to complete all necessary testing (blood tests, ECG, CT scan of my nose, Covid test, pre-operative consultation, and general health clearance test). I easily managed to go by myself to all the testing locations via Uber and complete all necessary tests despite not speaking Spanish. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr. Rafael's receptionist was able to make the arrangements for me to hire a nurse to take me back to my hotel (via Uber) after the surgery and stay with me after the surgery. The nurse was $10USD per hour and I arranged to have her stay with me until midnight of the day of surgery. I ended up feeling fine to stay by myself by 6pm, and told her she could leave (but I of course paid her for the entire time period). The surgery itself took place in a surgery center a few miles from my hotel. The surgery center was very modern and clean. The anesthesiologist and Dr. Rafael both spoke English with me prior to the surgery. The surgery center staff did not speak English, but this was not a problem. I used my Google Translate app on my phone to fill out the necessary paperwork and when needed to communicate with the nurses and front office staff at the surgery center. That was not a problem at all and everyone was very kind and helped me through the process. As for the rhinoplasty itself, I can honestly say that it is perfect. It works SO MUCH better. I can breath through my nose now, and it looks so feminine and cute. Dr. Rafael is a very skilled surgeon and I can't thank him enough for preforming my surgery. He did an incredible job. If you are considering travelling to Monterrey for rhinoplasty or any ENT surgeries, he is an excellent choice. I recommend taking someone with you to help you while you recover, but I went alone and had a wonderful experience, so if you need to go alone and don't speak Spanish, know that it is very doable. I stayed in Monterrey for 10 days after the surgery. He took the stitches and splints out of my nose at 7 days post-surgery and then I flew out 4 days later. I was glad that I stayed as long as I did, because I had to have a covid test before flying back to the U.S. and it gave my nose more time to heal prior to the covid test. Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales is a very skilled surgeon and a very kind doctor. I had a great experience going to Monterrey for my surgery and don't think I could have had a better outcome functionally or esthetically. My nose is adorable!

Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales, his professional manner, in addition to his genuine care for the patient makes all the difference. I talked to him for almost a full year before I finally made it out, even turning back once, out of nervousness halfway through my trip to Monterrey. When I told the doctor I wasn't going to come because I was unsure and having second thoughts, he didn't hesitate to tell me it was no problem. He even told me he understood if I used a different doctor closer to me. This in itself was a confidence booster, as I never felt pressured to come for the surgery. He responded to messages for almost another 8 months (usually answering within a day or two, never pressuring me). Eventually I was able to come, and one thing that helped me make that decision was his calm, informative, friendly, but professional demeanor. I came all alone, being a man, I was self conscious of getting plastic surgery, and even more unsure after the Coivid outbreak, if Mexico was the place I was comfortable having it. All those fears were taken away as the doctor personally helped me through each step, even assisting with travel and lodging plans. To be honest I don't know if I would have gotten the rhinoplasty I desired if I hadn't met him. He gave me confidence to come, keep in contact during travel, and checked in with me every moment I needed him, usually faster than I can get a response from a family member back home. Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales had begun to feel like extended family by the time I arrived and it continued throughout my stay. The procedure itself went perfectly. He was always listening to what I had to say, and giving suggestions to help make things easier. He even had a nurse accompany me to the hotel after surgery, to help me get settled. The price we agreed on a year prior never changed, and he even informed me before trip, of other expenses to expect. All of the expenses were very reasonable and even surprisingly so. He helped connect me to a dentist after surgery last minute to fix one of my teeth that I wasn't happy with. That referral turned out great as well. I could write a small novel on the great experience I had here in beautiful Monterrey. A beautiful city in Mexico with fantastic food, easy to use uber, and taxi, and all around a safe city where I even mistakenly drank water only to find out I had nothing to worry about. This city is unique among places I've been in Mexico and the world. Many people talk about things, they don't know about. I know about this Doctor, he is very skilled. very thorough, and he walks you through the process in such a way you always know, your being considered. We are from different countries, but I would never go anywhere else for this, my privacy was respected, and my wishes were granted because my nose turned out even better than I had hoped with very little discomfort. If you are on the fence, just talk to the good doctor, he takes the time to get to know you, and does everything possible to make your dream a reality. He did for me, I just turned 30 and I feel like he made a big difference in my life. I am so excited for the future, a fresh look to go with my positive new direction in life. I need to stop writing because I could talk all day. Dr. Rafael Moreno Sales is a real one, all you have to do is talk to him, no pressure, and you will be surprised how he becomes somebody you trust and respect. I will be coming back for vacation in a year, this city is gorgeous, and I can't wait to come back and see more of the beautiful things this place has to offer.

My experience with Dr. Rafael Morena was amazing. I’m from Houston and he made the process go so smooth and fast. I had a video appointment in which we got to know each other and explained how I needed a rhinoplasty since I had problems breathing. Then I had a face to face appointment to meet him in person and decide if I want to go head and do the surgery. I like how friendly and direct he is. He checked my nose and gave me an example how my nose was going to look, I decided to go head and trust him. My surgery was 2 days after the face to face appointment. I had no complications at all. When I would message him for questions he would reply fast. Today marks the 12th day of my surgery and I came back to remove my cast and I’m in love with the results. My nose came out really good, and I’m able to breath. I would definitely recommend him for a rhinoplasty.
