My wife and I we’re visiting In Puerto Vallarta and wanted to have complete eye examinations and also be tested for glasses. This was something we had not done for some time. Our research was simply through the internet and reading about various ophthalmologist resources there. Good decision to see Dr. Rodriguez. Rather than seeing an optometrist for an eye glass exam alone, as an opthamology doctor he was trained to perform more comprehensive medical examinations. We both separately met with Dr. Rodriguez. His professionalism, attention to detail, and overall demeanor was outstanding. The office was modern and had considerable high technology equipment. The pricing was also quite reasonable for all the services and time. In addition Dr. Rodriguez also accommodated our own schedules when initially making the appointments. Overall highly recommend and impressive.

Pamela Thompson referred me to this doctor and made an appointment for me, leaving the details in an email. I showed up at the appointment, waited downstairs without being attended, and eventually decided to go up to the first floor where it was located, and was told that the appointment was in fact for the next day, even though this conflicted with the email details. When I confirmed with Pamela, she simply said "Well I made the appointment with the doctor himself." The next day I called to confirm again, and I showed up to the appointment on time. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked how much longer I would need to wait as I needed to leave soon for another meeting. The receptionist told me that the doctor wasn't even there and was on his way. As I saw there were no reviews for this doctor, it seems sketchy, and he seemed irresponsible, and I decided not to waste any more of my time reading weird ads for dolphin baby therapy on the table. There are tons of doctors in this town, I would recommend someone who shows up to their appointments, Saint Javier is a perfectly good hospital that I have had good experiences with.

Professional and good with children. Had a quick consultation and got a referral for another specialist. Good experience with Dr. Rodrigo overall.
