Dr. Sergio del Hoyo - Gastroenterologo Cirugía - 48310 Puerto Vallarta

Just had a surgery 5 days ago. Dr. Sergio was communicating well with me before I had the surgery. He had a phone conference with me and explained about the procedure, then he send me the diet that I had to follow before my surgery. I met with him at his clinic the day before the surgery and he explained about the surgery further and told me that if he found that I have a hernia during my surgery , that he will fix it for an additional charge. I was pretty sure I didn’t have any hernia but I agreed. The 5 laparoscopic cuts where a bit larger than I anticipated. But they are healing well and I had no infection. The hospital was nice and clean. I didn’t feel that the nurses cared much. The nurses were not Dr.Sergio’s nurses they were hired by the hospital that he performed the surgery at. Over all he is a good surgeon and my operation was successful and with out any complications. Thank you ?

Everything came out perfect, much better than I expected! Dr. Sergio is a very competent doctor, you can see that he knows what he is doing, attentive to details and has a wonderful team. The hospital is new and very well equipped, with large rooms. I did my surgery three months ago and I am great, I never had a bad time because I did exactly what the doctor said !! I am very happy with my decision to have an operation in Puerto vallarta which is a very beautiful city and for choosing the best doctor to be part of this new stage of my life !! Super recommend !!

I found on Doctor del Hoyo a magnificent surgeon. He and his team game me all the attention before, during and after my surgery. The facility was very clean and he provided me and my friend with information where to stay and transportation that was very save. The price is incredible for all the service that you received from the doctor and his team. Best experience ever!

I had a gastric bypass feb 4thr 2022 and I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Dr.Hoyo , Great surgan !!! His whole team were amazing and seem less from beginning to the end ,with excellent beside manor . Dr. Sergio de Hoyo and his team are fantastic! The hospital is a modern facility and super clean! My husband was able to stay with me the whole time. I arrived from Canada and my Spanish is not very good, most everyone was able to speak English to me. I met Dr. Sergio and my Anesthesiologist before my surgery and they made me feel very comfortable. His entire team including the administration team are very engaging and warm and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Sergio and his team!!
