Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa - 63762 Bucerías

We would not stay at this resort again. We were disappointed when we arrived to see that the resort was choppy and not as grand as many others we have visited . We had two rooms (separate one for the kids) our rooms were “ jungle view “ . One of the rooms had a view of a dirt road that led to the employee parking lot with constant travel down the road from the staff, the better of the two views had a view of dead trees! We overheard the people below us complaining of their view as well and they had decided to leave. To the resorts credit, after we expressed our dissatisfaction with our rooms they moved us the following day to rooms with a better view. The problem with those rooms is they were missing many things, the stool for the make up table, slippers, etc. The restaurants were hard to get into, had long wait times or were closed all together. The buffet food was very average at best. The staff was very hit or miss, some were extremely friendly and some were just downright rude. We spent a small fortune for this family vacation and Are disappointed to say the least. In the grand scheme of life, this certainly is a small problem but if you’re going to spend your hard-earned money I would look elsewhere.

The place was very nice. Depending on your room location you may need to walk long distances and take 2 different elevators to restaurants and bars. The layout is but confusing and doesn't make sense. Activities are great and the food is decent. If you can get yourself a reservation at some of the nicer restaurants then the food improves significantly. The beach was very nice but rocky and hard for kids to enjoy. Overall it was a very nice stay and the staff was friendly.

Price to quality ratio is 5/5. New resort. All inclusive food options are better than comparison at similar pricing. Service is good but could be better. Resort is HUGE so lots of walking from and to your room from the pools and beach. Great wifi connection. Gym is great. Cold AC blasting all day. Hotel is right on the beach with a great surf break. Getting a bit crowded nowadays though. Still good first thing in the morning.

Specifically booked a swim out room after speaking with the hotel about room set up etc. Given our family dynamics and the hotel set up we knew this would work. We showed up after hours of travel, room wasn’t available, it had a leak a few days prior so they moved us to a different room, nothing close to what we booked. Had someone emailed or contacted us in advance we could have provided info about what alternative options would work. We were placed in a balcony room, totally unsafe for our active toddler and not a relaxing holiday. It’s a large Vegas sized property so be prepared to walk a lot. We are flexible travelers and we could have been fine with a room change up, but it would have been professional and polite to contact us prior and given us some options. Instead we were told they were full and no other options existed. Not a positive experience. Grounds and facilities are nice, just missing that luxury service element.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Staff are extremely helpful, food is delicious, and the resort is beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is wearing water shoes in the ocean. It was not posted anywhere that there was hundreds of sea urchins along the beach, and I had the unfortunate pleasure of stepping on one on our first day.

It was a great experience. Me and my husband decided to make it a family trip, the kids love the explore area for kids. All the services was great in the restaurants and in the pool area, they were really attentive. The only issue we had was when we arrived they had invited us to a tour and talk about if we wanted to become part of their Hotel and when me and my husband decided not to become part of it, they became really upset they kept insisting and wanting to know the reason. Literally it was almost 3 hours about them trying to convince you and I under That’s part of their job but they also have to respect people’s answers when we say no it’s a no simple as that. Other than that issue we had a great time we went to the secret side even though they said we weren’t allowed because we were on the dream side we still went and it was a great experience.

There is a new resort, very big. it was very hard for us to find a room. Part of the service is absolutely amazing and part of it "happened by chance" . Anyway everyone is nice - only sometimes you have to wait an hour for a small thing. The gym is very good. The rooms are beautiful. There is several swimming pools at the resort - but all of them are small, not good for swimming. The buffet food is so so..not standard 5 *****. The beach is practically non-existent - there are some rocks. This resort could be absolutely phenomenal if there was a better organization, marking directions, etc. I, as an experienced all-inclusive resort attendant, looked for a room for 40 minutes. At the end the most important thing - nowhere to run away from tourists. It's' very loud everywhere. From the music by the pool he can easily get his headache. It is a kind of "collective farm"for tourists. As a travel agent, I will not recommend this resort to clients. not yet ..

Beautiful resort. Treated a little different by a couple of staff (maybe racial) they didn't tell us much about the resort. Fan didn't work in our rooms, no one would come fix them. FOOD WAS JUST OK. Good rest though! We didn't get fresh face towels the entire time we were there and they took the ones we had. I had to take some off cart after a couple of days. They never offered us to upgrade to preferred club status at all or to become a part if their hotel. Guess our money or us was not good enough. Drinks were not the best.Spa experience was the best. Lots of walking. The adult side wasn't really adult. They don't do much to separate it. They wouldn't serve us on the beach either we had to go get our own drinks. We got the message.
