I really cant possibly understand how this place has over 4 starts. We were a group of 27 people and not one person in my group was satisfied with the food or drinks. We go to a different hotel each year and the food here has been the worst we’ve ever had. The Italian restaurant is not that bad but every other one is absolutely terrible. The repeated guests must have very very low standards for food. Every all inclusive makes overly sweet and poorly made cocktails so my standards we already low but they managed to go under that. The syrup they use here tastes like fake sugar and leaves you with a weird after taste. The hotel lobby bar , restaurants and hallways look like Mexico City’s airport Terminal 1, old not taken care of. The bathrooms smell like it too. The rooms are not bad at least. Lastly, I left my AirPods at the gym and I was gone 10 minutes before I realized and returned to get them and they were gone. The gym had already been sanitized and they keep track of every person that goes in the gym and nobody had gone in and location said they were still there. We made a complaint and all they did was come search our own room…. And that’s it. First time I ever get something stolen in a hotel. It’s my fault for forgetting it but, I have left things in a public bus and then I find it. Would never expect this in a hotel.

Service not always great. Not in the restaurants. Hit and miss. Waiters not friendly, not nice, not polite. Not all of them but at least 90% of the staff. A lot of discrimination. I asked to speak with the manager and for I don't know what reason they didn't transfer me.

The wifi is really poor here, so you best have a good travel plan for your cell service. Otherwise, no point bringing a phone or anything. Food is very mediocre and if you have any issues make sure you use the app to get anything resolved as the front desk will do nothing. For my first time to Mexico and this resort was so disappointing. You don’t even get a response on Facebook messenger if you complain.

First class hotel. Fabulous view even from a partial view room. Hot but cooling breeze similar to Hawaii. Wave are not huge so great for water wading. Long sand beach for a nice walk.

A family wedding brought us to dreams all-inclusive for a week. Smooth check-in but we had to wait 2 hours to check in, ONLY at 3 pm. Our room was clean and empty?? Room was excellent comfortable beds, mini fridge, big bathroom and patio Most staff very friendly and helpful, special praise for Isela serving drinks on the beach, she was awesome, professional and prompt. David from consierge was very very nice, TO OUR 22 YEAR OLD Daughter. He was 45. This was totally inappropriate to hit on her repeatedly and he was inviting her off resort to go night clubbing. This man should be reprimanded.

This was our second stay at Dreams and we obviously enjoyed it enough the first time to come a second time. Reasons we like the hotel: - The staff is great. They're friendly and always helpful We especially loved Eddie at the pool and Arturo at the Buffet/Mexican Restaurant -The location is great - right on a gorgeous beach and not far from town, activities and the airport - The resort is small but has everything you need - lots of pools, restaurants and places to hang out. Reasons we won't go back: -The resort had a propane bullet tank that completely emptied itself over the course of a couple of hours (due to a significant leak), to the point that the entire West wing was flooded with gas and the Hotel was telling guests it was no big deal. It was a significant safety risk to the guests, so much in fact that the hotel cut the power to that wing to lower the risk of fire, and yet the hotel was not overly concerned with protecting their guests or the staff in the building. The fire department or police services was not informed and the hotel tried to mange the leak themselves in spite of the great risk to the health and safety of the guests and staff. - Because of the Resorts response to Covid, getting food at the buffet or snack bar was a hassle. We were consistently standing in line for 10 minutes or more to get a plate of food because only one or two people are serving food or preparing the grilled food. They had lots of wait staff to handle the tables, but not enough staff to serve out the food since we weren't allowed to serve ourselves. - The food wasn't great; we remembered the food being pretty decent and were disappointed this time. - If we didn't wake up at 6 to get chairs by the pool, they'd be gone by 7 when we got up to get breakfast. We are usually at the pool by 8:30 and it was very frustrating to see large groups of chairs sitting empty for hours. - Dress code rules make no sense - We wanted to eat at Portofino and we were turned away because my husband was wearing a shirt with no collar (had buttons, not a t-shirt). He looked great but apparently jeans, a nice shirt and closed-toe shoes is unacceptable unless he's got a collar. The policy is outdated and honestly quite insulting; I understand that etiquette is difficult thing to manage when you're dealing with people from all walks of life, but we've all paid to be there and I simply disagree with the policy. - There were a lot of people smoking around the pool which isn't supposed to be allowed. There were cigarette butts all over the ground and the staff was not doing anything to stop it. We love Huatulco, but we have decided that if we visit again it will not be a Dreams Resort or any of it's affiliated resorts.

Friendly superb service, lots of pools, and an amazing beach. Not enough seafood during our stay, but I guess that's seasonal. Overall, the food and drinks were good, particularly the smoothies and desserts. The pool with jet streams is awesome, and that part of the resort is quiet and relaxing.

Very nice resort, many pools including the three pools that are very large that face the ocean and Bay that are like infinity pools. We had some issues with the tennis court and the concierge (Daniel) was able to resolve our issues after a couple of days and they accommodated us. The resort was only at 45 to 60% capacity so not all the restaurants are open and not all features in the restaurant were available but given the circumstances of covid-19 we were very happy with the service and the way that they try to accommodate everybody The beach in front of this Resort is very nice it's quite wide quite calm due to the fact that it's protected and at the back end of the bay so we really enjoyed swimming and walking along the beach The staff in all areas of the resort we're exceptionally well-trained and catered to the vacationers they tried their best in all circumstances we're very friendly and very attentive to our needs This resort is highly recommended!
