Dressel Divers Puerto Aventuras - 77750 Xpu Ha

Used on a fishing charter actually. Have dove with and all went good. This trip 55 minutes in they reel the Pole's in due to wind and rain. And a few minutes later cancel the trip. Which was ok. They didn't offer any type of refund. At port they kicked entire party off boat to stand in rain and wind. We sat there 45 minutes waiting for a ride. So long boat next to us asked us to come on there boat to get out of rain.

I did my open water certification here after trying out the discovery dive and had an amazing experience. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and my dive instructor Jordy was fantastic. She made all of the learning fun, and easy but still made sure I was comfortable with all the info and skills before moving on. She was very helpful, kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Over the course of a week my family had many interactions with the Barcelo Dressel team and we had a very favorable experience! From the start, manager Sergio and coordinator Ruth, along with the support staff were friendly, helpful, and accomodating to work with my family in scheduling dive lessons and boat dives. More importantly, the SCUBA instructors were excellent! We were fortunate to have lessons and dive experiences with several instructors and all provided helpful information and a great cumulative experience. Chris (Austria), Jordy (Australia), and Martino (Italy) are all extremely knowledgeable, fun, and competent. You guys are the best and made this such an awesome activity for us! Everyone was kind, even the instructors that we did not have (Elly (Czech), claire (US), and others) made it a warm and collaborative effort. Love the circumglobal dive vibe!! I was staying at the Hard Rock Resort - Riviera Maya, and Dressel Divers had a booth there. We signed up for a dive, and Dressel Divers did everything they could to make my dive experience wonderful. They offered door to door service, all the equipment I needed, and their dive masters were expertly trained and extraordinarily hospitable (THANK YOU ELI). Another big shout-out to Sergio for taking such great care of us. I always felt safe, respected, and prepared when diving with Dressel Divers.

I did the Discover Scuba Diving experience with Dressel at Barcelo. Even though we didn’t get to go ocean diving due to high winds and waves, we went to the cenote and it was absolutely stunning! Diving is way more fun than I expected and next time I’m getting a PADI license. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The pool session and lessons really gives you peace of mind to go actual diving. Only thing is that I think they only rinse the gear once. So the mouthpiece is not as clean as I feel it should be. But I think this is the norm. And it doesn’t detract the experience at all.

My first time ever diving was with Dressel Divers and I’m glad it was with them. I had Francisco (from Italy)as my instructor he was the best, I would love to come back and hopefully dive with him again, he is very helpful and fun to be around. And I can’t forget Verne (from South Africa) she was also very helpful and persuaded me to start adventuring under the ocean. She was very kind to me and my diving buddy, I would definitely recommend diving with them, they are the DREAM TEAM.

While staying at the Barcelo Maya resort I completed my Open Water Diver certification. Unfortunately, I did not get to dive in the ocean because of the rough waters. However, I was brought to the Cenotes to complete my training. I had Chris for the majority of my training and Judit for my last two open water dives. Both were well knowledgeable, patient and great company overall! After completing my training my sisters wanted to try out scuba diving so they participated in the free lessons by the pool. I was staying in the Barcelo Resort and had some amazing dives with the Dressel Divers team. Always great to see Eli so cheerful in the mornings. The dive sites are all just a few minutes away by boat so no long commutes and the water is warm and clear with colorful reef life. Big thanks to Louis who thought my wife her pool skills which I have wanted her to do for years and to Chris to have the patience with her in the water.
