Si no les gustaba sus capas de esmalte, podian haber lijado y barnizado los anaqueles, pero decidieron modernizarlo y hacer que pareciera como cualquier dulcería chilanga. Mal. Ni pensar en visitarlo, a menos que esté la señora Esperanza.
The genuine style of the early 20th century was what was worth it. If they didn't like its layers of enamel, they could have sanded and varnished the shelves, but they decided to modernize it and make it look like any Chilanga candy store. Bad. Don't even think about visiting him, unless Mrs. Esperanza is there.
