★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot food. Well done Great quality, friendly service. Cooked to order, so it takes a few minutes. Right sized portions. Had passed on the place as just another burger place. Live nearby. Got caught in the rain, good surprise. Fish and chicken also superior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fried seasoned chicken sandwich in the world...way better than Popeyes and Chick-fil-A which I eat on the daily in USA.
I literally flew BACK to Mexico City to eat it (and the other phenomenal food in Polanca...but hey it's TRUE).
$7/sandwich with the spicy sauce so be prepared to shell out the PESOs. Trust me it'll be worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6:30 busy saturday and no one at the window; you need to ring the bell apparently. it wasn't in an obvious place for me to notice for a bit, nor another customer that walked up while i was eating. not sure how these google ratings are so high; had the cheeseburger and nothing too exciting to say about it. good burger sauce and flavor combo, but it had some gristle, and worth 129 MXN? can probably only get away with that due to location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told about Waldos by a Mexican friend who said, "The burgers are the closest to an American style burger in Mexico City." Now that I have tried the burger, I can say that it was a great smash style burger. The burger is not huge by any means, but its size is fine.I ordered the bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. I also ordered fries and my daughter got a shake. It was all real good, especially the fries. The shake at 90 pesos was too expensive. You might want to walk across the street and get a shake from El Moro for 75 pesos and its the exact same shake size.
Just so you know, it is primarily a take-out place. While we were there, at least 4 Uber Eats or those type of folks were picking up order to be delivered. There is a skinny little rail with two stools to sit at and that's it.
I would definitely eat here again and recommend it if you like American style burgers.
