★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marcos, Jose, and James from the Mantaraya were absolutely wonderful and really made our day as good as it could have been. We unfortunately had rough seas but they were patient, understanding, and helpful when almost half our boat got sick! Marcos dove with us to see the sharks and he was wonderfully helpful. Very good experience with this crew, would be delighted to spend the day with them again, but maybe in calmer waters! Lol. And bring UPF clothes and a ball cap - sunscreen isn't allowed for the safety of the sharks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on the Sian kaan tour. It was really good trip I. The lagoon and also the cenote. The stop for breakfast wa a actually the best nd it wasn’t on the tour. We asked to stop and the driver ( Angel ) knew exactly where to take us as we had had a good chat before. We ended up having tacos at a small taco place that serves tacos de guisado. Best place for good breakfast tacos.
The lagoon tour was good. It was fun I the cold water floating In the channel. Tita was a good guide very knowledgeable and really well intended.
I think the tour overall good, perhaps a bit overpriced and although different to other tours it still felt a bit of a tour. But we had fun and really enjoyed it. 3 adults nd 6 kids. The kids despite being phone addicts, Really enjoyed the tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value...but most importantly is the quality of the people that they use as guides. Thet are ALL incredibly knowlegable and kind. Very friendly, eager to help and to teach. Anyone can take you on a tour...the guides are what makes the diference! Best company overall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After booking, paying, and spending many hours on trip planning, I was notified that the website was in error and there was no room on the tour. It took some time to get my payment back as well. Unacceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our tour had to be postponed due to a hurricane and the staff always kept us informed about the possibilities and status.
The tour itself was great. As we stayed in Tulum and the tour starts in Cancun of course the transfer to the dock took a long time. As far as I know one can also travel directly to the port by themselves. So that maybe safes some time.
The tour guide, Elias, was super friendly and took great care of us! Especially for German visitors 100% recommendation as he speaks German.
The whole crew (driver, snorkelling guide as well as the captain) was great and patient as it took us a bit longer to find the whale sharks.
Some general thoughts: Our boat/this company seemed to respect the rules to protect the animals strictly. But I saw a couple of other examples. People were pushing other people away, going way to close towards the animals. The whale sharks themselves didn’t seem to care, they were very calm. But at times it was hard to watch - and I also had fins, arms and legs in my face several times.
We enjoyed it greatly and appreciate the efforts the whole crew made! I just hope us humans can find a more respectful way to enjoy these creatures in their own living spaces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the whale shark tour . Marie was our guide she was very sweet and make sure that we all had everything we needed. The pick us on time at our hotel, they stop on a pharmacy on the way to the marina since a few of the travelers needed to get dramamine and biodegradable sunblock. When we arrive at the marina they had assorted fruits, coffee, tea and juice waiting for us. Take the dramamine as soon as you can the boat ride to the whale shark spot is rough, very rough. Is almost like a race to see which boat get to the spot the fastest. Per park regulations only two people per boat ( plus the guide) can be in the water at a time. There lots of your boat in the same area . The whale sharks move fast so you have to be in the water as soon at the captain says go or you will miss it. The deckhand of my boat took my hand and help me swim after one of the whales so that i can see it longer it was pretty amazing. After eveylryone had a chnage to swim and see the whale sharks you get a light lunch (sanwich ) and drinks. My guide Marie wanted to make sure everyone was happy and offer to let ua get in the water again . Me and another passanger jump at the opportunity. The time with the whale sharks is limited so enjoy every momen. Afterwards the boat goes to Isla Mujeres another rough ride there you can swim in shallow water and enjoy a freshly made ceviche. You can let them know if you want to buy the video of the experience at the start of the trip so they can record you as you go, including in the water . No obligations before you pay they will show you what they have of you and if you get it a few days later you will get a nicely edit video of your tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had taken the half a day Marine Turtle Snorkel Tour, which honestly was expensive (120$ per person) considering that we didn’t see anything in that water (only 1 turtle and even the water isn’t clear) However we had an amazing guide Alex which took us to a beautiful Cenotes after that snorkelling with another guy. The Cenotes were impressive and we stayed more than promised, which was really great. At lunch time Alex has cut for us some fruits and gave us some desserts, very nice. The tour shouldn’t be called Turtle snorkelling, but great Cenote tour etc. and definitely too expensive, should be at least half the price in my opinion. But overall our guide Alex was great and we enjoyed the part after snorkelling very much. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must experience tour when in Cancún! This was truly a spiritual experience for me and the EcoColora tour was brilliant. Gil and the crew were amazing, knowledgeable and respectful of the whale sharks. They made sure we all got a proper interaction with them without harming them. The boat Gaviota was comfortable, fun run ride out to sea. Make sure you take motion sickness meds and hour before the trip.
