★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those traveling to Cancún and wanting to visit Chichen Itza, it is without a doubt an excellent place to rest for one night, or perhaps relax for two days. Very quiet hotel surrounded by nature, very friendly staff. Delicious food. It is a very top outdoor pool. ?????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn’t call it a five stars hotel….. not even close
Very dirty, we didn’t have hot water. Complained to the reception but it didn’t seem like they cared.
Dying to go back to the previous hostels that I visited. They were much better in every aspect. Big disappointment. And with this amount of workers you would expect that someone will care and help.
Those were all over…. Including on the bed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel appears Spanish colonial, beautiful style, the pool was nice and quiet, friendly staff at the restaurant. Room is fairly spacious. We did not sit on the balcony because of the mosquitoes. Aircon works fine. Very spacious shower with hot water, but weird tight angle getting between the the sink to the shower. Breakfast is nice, just thought it was a bit sad that there are so few customers now. You can also order drinks at the pool. Great WiFi. Good parking (when you are in front of the entrance, 1st right and then under the gate, see photo). About a 10-15 min walk to the center, it was OK with the two of us, quite a bit of traffic through the street. Beautiful tropical garden. There is even a tennis court! I would recommend this accommodation, despite the points for improvement.
An extra toilet roll would have been nice. The (cushions of the) sunbeds at the pool need to be replaced (mold). Pool water was quite cold and not too clean. Bed sheets in the room were always slightly damp, possibly from the botanical garden or not dried well in advance? There is still room for improvement from a hygienic point of view; cobwebs, splashes on doors and glass, etc. When you lie by the pool you can enjoy the loud music from a diner across the street. You also look at electricity poles and wires. Front desk staff does not seem well trained on how to deal with customers; when we arrived it took many minutes for two members of staff to finish their conversation and instead of welcoming us just ask for our booking and name. The ATM had cures (not surprising given the wires spaghetti), which made it take a very long time with the payment, they should have let us go to the room first or offer a drink or something. Nowhere is it asked how you are doing or how the trip was, but that is the case in many places in Mexico, a pity. And no idea what is "eco" about this hotel,. feels like pure marketing here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wasn't bad but you can tell it's an older hotel. If you're looking for a cheap stay in Valladolid it's an ok option. It's kinda far from the city center but if you have a car for your Cenote trips then it won't be an issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A no-no. No elevator, we had to lug our cases up three flights of stairs. No towel hook, no fridge, many mosquitoes, only one bottle of water. Restaurant fine, good service. Location good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, the hotel has seen better days. The rooms are big but the design and available furniture is not practical all (no fridge, little drawers etc). Huge shower but a tiny space to put your shower gel. My biggest problem was the mattress. It was solid rock for me and I couldn’t sleep well (i asked for a change but there was just this one standard stiffness). The restaurant was okay and the location was quiet, little good 15. min to center. Just a few of the staff did speak some English. Overall OK, but no more..
