★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar muy agradable para pasar una mañana... Hay comida rica y algunos juegos para los niños, se puede caminar por el bosque y también rentar una cabaña para pasar la noche... El lugar tiene un lago que puede navegarse con bicilanchas. Recomendable.

Hace tiempo nos aventuramos en búsqueda de la antigua hidroeléctrica en San Pablo Etla, de la que un amigo nos había contado su historia, pero, ante la imposibilidad de acceder al lugar en que esta se encontraba, decidimos aprovechar el viaje y visitar el Arroyo Guacamaya, no nos arrepentimos... ?
Es un lugar ideal para ecoturistear en fin de semana, pues se encuentra a tan solo 1 hora y cuarto de la ciudad de Oaxaca, su tranquilidad, su clima y la calidez de la gente son los elementos perfectos para relajarse y tirar el estrés acumulado de una semana de trabajo. Este hermoso lugar pertenece al municipio de Teococuilco de Marcos Pérez, sin embargo su acceso más cercano es por la Villa de Etla.
Aquí podrán encontrar una espectacular cascada, miradores de ensueño, cabañas para hospedarse, con capacidad hasta de diez personas, espacios para senderismo y un restaurante perfecto para degustar truchas, hongos silvestres, además de bebidas calientes como chocolate y café.

Desde la ciudad de Oaxaca se toma la carretera federal 190 hacia la Villa de Etla, se sigue por la vía que comunica a San Miguel Etla y se continua por 10 kilómetros más sobre el camino de terracería.
Guacamaya Stream ??
Some time ago we ventured in search of the old hydroelectric plant in San Pablo Etla, of which a friend had told us his story, but, given the impossibility of accessing the place where it was, we decided to take advantage of the trip and visit the Arroyo Guacamaya , we have no regrets ... ?
It is an ideal place for ecotourism on the weekend, as it is only 1 hour and a quarter from the city of Oaxaca, its tranquility, its climate and the warmth of the people are the perfect elements to relax and throw away the accumulated stress of one week of work. This beautiful place belongs to the municipality of Teococuilco de Marcos Pérez, however its closest access is through the Villa de Etla.
Here you can find a spectacular waterfall, dreamlike viewpoints, cabins to stay, with capacity for up to ten people, spaces for hiking and a perfect restaurant to taste trout, wild mushrooms, as well as hot drinks such as chocolate and coffee.

From the city of Oaxaca, take federal highway 190 towards Villa de Etla, continue along the road that connects San Miguel Etla and continue for 10 more kilometers on the dirt road.
