From Guanafato, take No. 110, turn left at a difficult place, and follow an unpaved road. After the XUMU sign in the photo posted, it will be a difficult road for a sedan type car. I walked from there to explore the forest, but in the morning there is fog and it's cold so I need a jacket. There are many plants growing in the forest, which is different from the vegetation you usually see, and it is fun. I felt the strength of the cactus growing on the mossy rock. However, please note that it is a fairly large forest and you will get lost as soon as you go off the road. Proceed through the forest and you will arrive at the cottage in about 20 minutes. In addition to the cottages, there were several people camping in open forests, so it looks good for camping. It is a good forest where you can take options such as day trip trekking, camping, and spending time in a quiet cottage. However, it is a pity that the trees obstruct the forest and you cannot see the scenery in the distance.

The place is a bit stuck between roads but there is signage, any car can enter but it gets very dusty, the place is spacious and with an MTB track, also cabins with fireplaces, it is advisable to reserve, its camping area is wide although the furthest It does not have a bathroom, the place is clean with signs and garbage cans, there is a lot of firewood and the staff is friendly, the viewpoint is about 1 km from the park, there are also benches and grills.

It is a very safe place for camping, hiking and other outdoor activities. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is ideal for those who want to be in contact with nature without luxury.

Simply a beautiful place, we rented 2 cabins and the truth is that the price is super cheap for all the services that it includes, from the furniture, the great space and that we had no problems with water, electricity and internet, not to mention how beautiful it is , we had to walk because we had no transportation ?, the whole journey has beautiful landscapes, the forest is beautiful and safe (we walked at night and during the day), the night sky looks perfect ✨, the little store is well stocked, excellent service, thank you very much ?

Beautiful place to be in contact with nature and away from everyday stress, in the cabins you have all the necessary services to be comfortably, it is incredible to feel those comforts in the middle of the forest. I would definitely come back for more days.
