★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edificio del siglo XIX, creado por el escultor Muñetón, lleva tiempo en restauración, tuve la oportunidad de conocer un poco su interior, pese a las obras es bellísimo. Espero pronto este abierto al público para su goce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es uno de los edificios más bellos de Jerez, fue construido en 1894 en un terreno donado por Don Pantaleón de la Torre para que se construyera una escuela de primeras letras y posteriormente pasó a manos del municipio de Jerez.
Este bello edificio fue inaugurado como escuela en 1896 y tuvo esta función durante 70 años, hasta que fue adquirido por el gobierno municipal quien lo convirtió en la casa de la cultura, fue sede de la Biblioteca Municipal y es uno de los íconos más reconocidos en la ciudad. El maestro cantero Dámaso Muletón se hizo cargo del diseño y de la construcción de este edificio, toda la construcción es de cal y canto, y sillería la parte exterior.
It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Jerez, it was built in 1894 on land donated by Don Pantaleón de la Torre so that a school of first letters could be built and later it passed into the hands of the municipality of Jerez.
This beautiful building was inaugurated as a school in 1896 and had this function for 70 years, until it was acquired by the municipal government who turned it into the house of culture, was the seat of the Municipal Library and is one of the most recognized icons in the city. The master stonemason Dámaso Muletón took charge of the design and construction of this building, the entire construction is made of lime and stone, and the exterior part is ashlar.
