Ahí se localizan las bóvedas del Banco de México. Fue propiedad de la familia Escandón, que dio asilo a los exiliados españoles que se refugiaron en el país tras la guerra Civil Española.
The Guardiola Building is one of the few buildings that were built during the 20th century in the Historic Center. It is nine levels, three of which are underground. There the Banco de México vaults are located. It was owned by the Escandón family, which gave asylum to the Spanish exiles who took refuge in the country after the Spanish Civil War.
