Skriv dog lige til ham angående ankomsttidspunkt, så I er sikre på at han er hjemme og kan lukke jer ind. Really nice place where the host is super sweet and helpful. However, write straight to him regarding the time of arrival, so you are sure that he is at home and can let you in.

El hotel es sencillo sin lujos pero con todas las comodidades para dormir porque si vas a Cancún el hotel es Solo para dormir y bañarse. Del resto pasas todo el día en la calle visitando tantos sitios. Una semana es muy poco para conocer todos los sitios turisticos de la zona y pagar lo menos posible para alargar la estadía este es el hotel que necesitas. Se los recomiendo ampliamente. Espero que siga así despues de todos estos años. Espero volver alguna vez I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel in 2015. Mr. Juan welcomed us very well. Attentive and kind. The hotel is simple without luxuries but with all the comforts to sleep because if you go to Cancun the hotel is only for sleeping and bathing. The rest you spend all day in the street visiting so many sites. A week is too little to know all the tourist sites in the area and pay as little as possible to extend the stay this is the hotel you need. I highly recommend them. I hope it continues like this after all these years. I hope to come back sometime

A	Anthony J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was genuinely a pleasant surprise walking into Edificio Velas after a long flight. Greeted by a friendly and fluent-in-English owner, we were able to enjoy our 5 day stay in Cancun. Location wise, its located in central cancun, so it is relatively close to access Market 28 or Parque de Las Palapas. The real problem is having taxi drivers find the hostel due to no signs outside the building. I recommend downloading google maps beforehand or use roaming to direct the driver. Overall, worry free stay with an owner willing to help you with tour questions and transportation inquiries and I highly recommend if on a budget.

So glad to have found it after 3 cancelled flights and being stuck in Mexico due to the hurricanes and losing our resort and rental car. The owner and the hotel were a breath of fresh air.
