Our guide was Victor - a unique human being who knows everything and even more about Mexico. Victor is an incredibly educated historian, scientist, archaeologist, diver, a talented storyteller, passionate about his work and captivating all of us to touch the great history of ancient peoples. Victor is a man who makes history. He worked on archaeological expeditions, underwater diving in sinots and research in the bowels of the earth under the pyramids, so he appeals with facts not by hearsay. He initiated us into the secrets of his own findings and discoveries. Excursion for 13 hours. Time flew by completely unnoticed. More recently, my husband and I were vacationing in Mexico near the city of Playa del Carmen. Wonderful nature, turquoise sea, great rest, interesting excursions. In one of them - the Mayan World, three ancient cities - we were accompanied by our guide Viktor Deev. As it turned out - an extraordinary person - a guide, archaeologist, diver, a person keen on his work, an interesting storyteller. I was never particularly fond of the history of the Maya, but Victor - attentive, charming, very sociable - could easily interest and draw into the world of the history of the ancient civilization. Long excursion - more than 12 hours flew in one breath.
