★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location, good views of the lagoon, friendly staff. But the quality of the food was seriously lacking. The octopus civiche and very mushy, and the fish filet had to be sent back to be cooked again, but even when they brought us a new one, we realized it was the fish it's self that was terrible. The tortilla chips were very extremely oily even for Mexican cantina standards. Overall, a lot to love about this place, but the food isn't one of them. Go have a beer, have a swim, and enjoy the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come for the view and you won't be disappointed. This is a beautiful place located in a prime spot on the gorgeous lagoon. The service was friendly but slow and not very attentive. The music was great and my waiter was singing along which was pretty amusing. I had the aguachile to eat and honestly it was not very good compared to all the other delicious seafood restaurants in the area. The cocktails were tasty but weak. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are staying in Bacalar or Chetumal, you definitely have to visit "Laguna Milagros". I've been there at 11 a.m. and it was the best place for a brunch. I stayed in a table with a perfect view. while waiting for my special omelette i bathed in this pretty water.
