Localidad

You must stop here, buy a flower corona, bless yourself with the spring water flowing from under the ahuehuete tree then dance in the small plaza. Later, you go to Chalma.

This is one of the great places in the State of Mexico to visit. Very close to el Santuario de Chalma. This tree is historic and you can't find it that easily. The park is a great place to relax and enjoy the little shops that are located in the park or by the road. Too bad people (a lot of them) are ?'s they leave trash all over the place, good thing they have a cleaning crew.??

This it's a beautiful place to visit and swim if you like the cold really cold water and it's free for everyone ,but there is something wrong here, the dirty visitors, so many people leaving their trash and misery all over, it's so disgusting how some people can be that dirty!

Well, it was not what I thought it to be. I mean, it was really huge yes, nice tree and yes a spring coming from the roots, but the feeling was ruined by those locals, who see you as your wallet. I have always disliked how people come and offer their stuff. I understand this is their work and money for the family, but it slightly bothers, as you cannot really feel the atmosphere and be there. That's why it is 4 stars, not 5. Some locals were very friendly and nice and understood no gracias very well. Some didn't.
