El Almacén del Bife - 45116 Zapopan
Un Lugar donde se mezclan los sabores del viejo continente y los mejores cortes al auténtico estilo gaucho. Un lugar perfecto para comidas de negocios o placer, rodeado de delicadez y confort que lo invitan a disfrutar de nuestra amplia cata de vinos.
La casona que alberga este Almacén, nos recuerda aquellos otros que dan ambiente en Buenos Aires a los viejos almacenes de Puerto Madero. Fue dedicada a partir tabiques recuperados de fincas de la Ciudad de México, que en su tiempo vivieron una tardía colonia y el lujo del porfiriato. Las cabrillas que sostienen la techumbre fueron forjadas en 1890, según lo proclama en su piel el propio hierro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very pleasantly impressed. I ordered something that was way too salty, so I did say something. Not only did they take it back, they offered to change it for something else. It was really good. The great service is worth every cent. And the flavour is just amazing, except for that one dish that was a bit too salty. It's all great. I will definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service excellent. Our server was very accommodating. My husband had tacos lechón this time so so compared other times. I can not recommend the Tuna tartar. I don’t like the flavor of vinegar. Tuna tartar should be raw. This version the tuna has been marinated so it is cooked in the marinade like ceviches. Flavors were too much overpowering the delicate flavor of raw tuna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfectly prepared steaks, with an excellent meat quality. The prime rib from the oven (steak of the day) came with meat juice and was seasoned very well (thyme salt crust). The steak was incredible tender. Also the fries were very good, they came with an horseradish-cream. The staff is very attentive. Even the cocktails and the vine is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good food, but the service was sub par do to a big party being next to us. The Tres Leches was a mass of cake not fluffy like it's supposed to be. The presentation of food was excellent though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wait list was 50min at 20:30 on Valentine's Day but they gave us free beers (2 rounds) while we waited, and we only waited about 40 min.
After that there was nothing but unquestionable positives. The food was fantastic and they have a nice cocktail menu! My grilled octopus was perfectly done. Loved it! And the service was friendly and quick despite how busy they were.
