Nice municipality, excellent commercial activities. Too bad about the multi-family houses to the east of the capital and the permits for the berry greenhouses of the powerful investors.

Quiet place to spend the afternoon or evening talking with friends and enjoying some corn or a palette of seasonal flavors. Lack of more care at the source.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es relevante sólo porque está cerca de tequila y forma parte de los pueblos agaveros de la región, pero en sí no tiene mucho sitio de interés, está bonito y tiene algunas haciendas que se utizan para eventos pero nadamas. Es mas un pueblo de paso!
It is relevant only because it is close to tequila and is part of the agave towns of the region, but in itself it does not have much of interest, it is beautiful and it has some haciendas that are used for events but nothing else. It is more of a passing town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No hay mucho lugar turístico en el pueblo, se puede visitar la Hacienda La Calavera, y la iglesia y plaza principal, hay algunos restaurantes como Los jilgueros o La Higuera, Restaurante Japonés Sakura, o las carnitas La Fuente, además de los cantaritos sobre la carretera y el Balneario Ojo de Agua.
There is not much tourist place in the town, you can visit the Hacienda La Calavera, and the church and main square, there are some restaurants such as Los jilgueros or La Higuera, Sakura Japanese Restaurant, or the La Fuente carnitas, in addition to the singing on the road and the Ojo de Agua Spa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained plaza near downtown EL Arenal which is situated about 45 minutes from Guadalajara. Enjoy a treat or sit under the shade of the trees on one of the several benches and seating areas. Small town with a big heart.
