This is probably where most of the tourists eat. A bit pricey, but on the other hand it has quite a view. The food here tastes diferent every other day, ( don't know if they change personnel) I have ordered the same thing many time, and every single time it does not taste like the last meal. Sometimes it is disappointing to see that the waiters only have interest in attending the tourists rather then the locals ( obvious reasons $). This would have been a better review if the staff deserved. Would not recommend. Totally disliked it. Never returning.

Overpriced and you only can sit there if you order a main dish which was around 500 pesos. It looks fancy and has nice view tho.

Ok, so the it's a bit touristy. Food is hit and miss - pick carefully and you will find some tasty selections. Soups and salads are all excellent. Don't expect haute cuisine. Do expect very friendly professional waitresses. Nothing beats a balcony table overlooking the Zócalo at around 8pm on any given night - especially magical on weekends. And yes it is a bit pricey (think of it as a premium for eating on the Zócalo and not being hassled by mariachis and vendors).

Excellent service and food. The menu has a variety of dishes to include Oxacan dishes. The Arrachera and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. The sangria ..I will pass the next time but it was refreshing. Located on the side of Zocalo, sitting in the balcony gives a view of the busy joyful plaza.

Wonderful restaurant overlooking the Zócalo Square. Service was exceptional, everyone was so kind and helpful. Pasta bolognese was a bold choice but to my surprise it was delicious. My husband loves the garlic shrimp. Bread & Butter never disappoints but this butter is mixed with cilantro & I’m not a cilantro fan but it was very good.

The service & ambience were amazing! Everything was clean & orderly. The traditional Oaxacan dishes had amazing flavors. The sangria was really great. The servers were very attentive & kind. I'll definitely return back.

Very nice view onthe town square and the live music was great. That’s what you pay for I think because the food really wasn’t all that. Some dishes were nice but very expensive for what/the amount you actually got. I paid $177 for a Caesar salad consisting of four lettuce leafs, three pieces of toasted bread and an enormous load of dressing…
