About El Bajío

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Bajio offers home style Mexican food, the kind of food you'll have at home in a middle class Mexican household.
This place has no pretensions, they offer great classic Mexican food from a wide variety of areas. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast or have a business meeting over lunch.
I live their mole de olla and the huauzontles take back to my childhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't get the impression this place is used to dealing with non-Mexicans. Every time I asked a question about a dish, the server had a "duh" attitude, as if I had to know what all this stuff is.
Service can definitely be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very good restaurant chain, specially this branch that offers very typical Mexican food alternatives.
Usually service is not bad however it could be better. Food is amazing, prices are reasonable, they have lots of options, some of them are changing every day.
Definitely a place to have breakfast or lunch
