One star is not low enough. They were ripping all the gringos off by 43%. They tried to cover up the original pricing with a sticker.

El peor servicio, la peor mesera y muuuuuy muuuy mala experiencia. I would never recommend it. Never go to eat to any of these small restaurants. It is horrible ?

TRAVELERS BEWARE ! " OWNER THREATNED US TO PAY FOR FOOD WE DID NOT CONSUME" This restaurant is all a scam and the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Mexico. when we were told from a host they had price menus starting at 90 pesos for a complete 3 course meal we accepted since we were traveling with a big group. Once we were seated and ordered our food.30min later the waiter told us they ran out of rice and chicken for our meals. However, they said we would all be getting 2tablespoons of rice . We kindly told the waiter that's not what we discussed prior to ordering, and we wanted to pay for what we consumed which was the “Soup” that came with our order .so we can go somewhere else to eat, Waiter called the Owner, The owner of the restaurant was EXTREMLY RUDE ! told us we had to pay full price for the "soup" 75 pesos each which was ALL water , and also said we had to pay for the FOOD that wasn't even brought to us. The owner THREATNED us to pay for EVERYTHING even if we didn’t consume it or he would call the police, and started disrespecting my family . This is not his first time doing this, since we later found out he has done this to other people. PLEASE BE AWARE AND ALWAYS GOOGLE OR YELP PLACES BEFORE GOING, HAVE WE KNOWED ABOUT THE REVIEWS WE WOULD HAVE NEVER STEPPED FOOT.

DON'T EAT HERE, THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU If you're looking for a good meal with great prices and a nice view, let's say that, out of the three, you'll probably only get the latter. My experience with this restaurant was quite unorthodox since there are people at the entrance and along the street asking if you want to eat at the terrace. However, once you get there, there are more than three restaurant menus but the one you get depends on the waiter that turns out to be a friend or whatever acquaintance of the person that offered you to check out the place on the street. I went up to the second floor and had a table in the middle of the room, not quite with a view. Anyhow, once you're seated and if you don't like that menu, you have to change your waiter (?) I know, silly, right? Well, it's true. I didn't like the menu I was offered at first and the waiter took the napkins and the whole service off my table. Like, what? Really? I obviously did not want to eat there anymore; however, I was hungry so I went down the stairs to the next level and I took a seat. Fortunately, I liked that menu and had a complete supper; but it didn't go as well as I hoped for. I was offered a $190.00 3-dish supper, beverage included, and by the time my check arrived, it said the price was actually $195.00 pesos (we were a party of two), so 195 × 2 = $390.00 PLUS 15% TIPPING, making it almost a $470.00 pesos check, which is an expensive check. Almost $100.00 pesos for a tip! The service was not as bad as the first one but I find restaurants that include their tip in the final sum rude and unprofessional. I am not questioning their organisation when it comes to paying their employees, but I am sure the service and the whole place does not deserve such a pretentious tip. I corrected the check with my own pen (always carry one, folks) and made it clear to my waiter that, since we're not on the beach nor by a coral reef, the restaurant has no right to even be asking for 15%, and that I would give as much as a tip as I had considered the food and service. I ended up giving him 8% just because of this small detail. So, fellow turists, I kindly advise you NOT TO EAT HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. YOUR MONEY IS NOT WORTH THIS PLACE. As a local, I highly recommend you try other restaurants and check the prices with a fellow local as well as your checks and the tip suggested. Take pictures of the menu or "carta" in Spanish. Check for yourself this was our bill and look at the prices of the menu we posted, were definitely calling "profeco" basically the BBB of México.

Unfortunately when I read the reviews I was already there ... I don't want to be redundant, everything is just as described by other reviewers. Do not go there, the food is not the best and is ridiculously expensive. They charged 16% tax plus 20% service, and by LAW the prices include taxes at least state otherwise in the menu... and gratitude is not a must, a good tip is around 15% top!
