Not a cool spot to enjoy Ajijic. Think twice before you enter this place…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went this Saturday evening and so disappointed! The waiter was very non enthusiastic. The place is dark and dirty. We both ordered bbq pork ribs that were over cooked and flavorless! We paid for our drinks only. Won't go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great music on Saturday afternoon and great service while listening. Drinks were reasonable priced. Food selection was ok but they do have a large pizza selection but was not in the mood for normal American food. chicken quesadilla, Ceasers salad, 6 margaritas, 2 modelos—-950 pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bar in downtown Ajijic. On Sunday afternoon we saw a great local rock band on rooftop patio. Also recommend the ribs and fries platter with cold Coronas. Friendly and fun atmosphere with an open air patio made for a safe Covid times outing. We will definitely be back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service, mediocre food that's overpriced. Potential trip and fall hazards for seniors. Covid rules for bartenders and serving staff are not enforced, see images, staff at the bar. If they have a band, there's a cover charge.

Set just off the main road, El Bar Co is one of Ajijic's hidden gems. Service is welcoming and friendly, prices are fair, and the food is great.
Boasting a profusion of screens, this place is also excellent if you want to watch major sporting events.
