Great place for a day at the beach or a lunch on the seaside. Vegetarian tacos were very good (very savory, might ask for less salt if sodium sensitive) and the guacamole was fresh. Place was busy but well managed. We left very happy and full!

El Barracuda is a great example of a great beach bar with a good restaurant. The first thing to note is that they are cash only. The restaurant overlooks the beach. They also have seating on the beach in front. Menu is Mexican and seafood is featured, with some vegetarian and meat choices available. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Staff are accommodating and speak good English. If you don't like sweet margaritas, order yours "skinny".

Great little seaside restaurant for margaritas and ceviche. Barracuda ceviche is shrimp, scallop, octopus and the Peruvian ceviche is fish. Good margaritas. All about the atmosphere and ocean front.

One of my favorite restaurant during the trip!! We went there twice in the roll! The best Ceviche, grilled octopus, paella and deep fried red snapper ??? we even ordered twice ceviche and octopus because it’s soooo good ?? ocean front view! Oyster is from Cali, not worth it.

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Puerto Vallarta. We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive, but wanted to get out and experience the real food of PV. El Barracuda did not not disappoint and I would say we had our very best meal of the trip here. We got there on the early side; around 6pm, and were taken immediately to a table with a gorgeous view of the ocean (I think almost every table has a view of the ocean). The entire waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Our appetizer was my single favorite dish; seared octopus and mushrooms, served with garlic butter and baguette. It was AMAZING. I had the smoked marlin tacos which were fine, but my fiancé got the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we will absolutely return to on our next visit to PVR.

We've always enjoyed very much El Barracuda but this time we didn't have the best experience. Apparently the kitchen ran out of propane and some of our plates had to be substituted after a super long wait. The atmosphere was as good as always

Initial service was not good. Just wanted to talk to someone about putting our names on the waitlist but was not acknowledged until close to 10 minutes later. Service was much better once we were seated. This restaurant offered very good food with a nice view. The mixed drinks were good. ABV was on the lighter side but good flavor. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be back.

Wow! Great ocean view and really really good food. If you were any closer to the water you would be wet. Beachfront seating as well as indoor service available. Smart focused menu demonstrating the skill and balance of the kitchen. Intelligent flavors and surprising nuance make sharing plates a pleasure. Very reasonable prices
