★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a family-run beach hut restaurant with all the quintessential Mexican foods, plus a great view. It's not fancy, but it's very good. It's these authentic places I am always trying to find when I travel- and I highly recommend this place for a light lunch or dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stray dogs run rampant here, pee on posts, inside the restaurant, where people eat. The fried fish is burned and the shrimp are dry. Also, there's a public toilet next to the eating area, that you can smell while you dine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eat somewhere else if you’re a foreigner. Our waitress was rude and couldn’t care less. We ordered two coconuts and it costed us 200 pesos. The other reviews were right - the seats were right next to the public bathroom. Avoid this place if possible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend El Bucanero. We came here with 10 people and were greeted by a very pleasant lady server, speaking Spanish and English. The parking was free and we could buy food from the venders. We asked for appetizers first and then asked for fish, octopus, ceviche and shrimp, with guacamole and tostadas. The seafood was delicious. The beach and the views are fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view on the beach is lovely, the beach itself is fantastic with transparent water, coral reefs and nice snorkeling. But before you even finish parking the car at the restaurant the guy is gonna approach you with unnecessary advices where to park. The rest of the service is very intrusive too. For 2 simple vegetarian breakfasts and 2 juices the guy asked 250 pesos!!! (He never showed menu prior, just said what they had that day, and we believed as the place is quite small) Just because our skin was white and one of us didn’t speak Spanish means we could be “robbed” like this ?! Once I started asking to show us menu and what is the price for breakfast, for each juice, the guys tried to calculate accordingly, but his math was no good... it was 180 in the end.. we never come back this place to eat. The beach is good though, really recommend
