★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Cacalote (estancia del cuidado) una comunidad rural perteneciente al municipio de Tepetongo zacatecas, algo de historia, hasta el 1910 el municipio de Tepetongo se componía de 9 haciendas con una extensión territorial de 77,400 hectáreas, esas haciendas eran San Felipe, El Cacalote, Vivoras, arroyo seco, achimec, el laurel, y la chaveña, fue hasta el año del 1928 cuando se comenzó a dar inicio el reparto de tierras en el municipio de Tepetongo, en el mandató del presidente Lázaro Cárdenas en el que la tenencia de la tierra como en toda la República se dividió en ejidos y pequeñas propiedades, ahora el cacalote pasó a formar parte de las rancherías, para el año del 1927, la comunidad contaba con 127 habitantes lo cual para el último censo registrado en el año del 2020 son tan solo 51 un rancho bastante bonito y lleno de historia
