★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was not treated honestly at this establishment. Everything was fine until I paid the bill. I used a travel credit card, the type that gives a super good exchange rate through Visa. This restaurant charged me in US dollars making the exchange at their own rate which was far inferior (more than 5%) to the prevailing exchange rate. When I spoke to the waiter and told him that I did not want to be charged in US $ but in Mexican pesos, he insisted that the charge was in pesos. After I left the establishment, I did the math to confirm that, indeed they used an exchange of 19 pesos to the dollar when the prevailing rate was 20. I always leave a good tip because I understand that U.S. citizens are privileged and can afford to be generous with others but I don't like to be taken advantage of dishonestly. I will not go to this restaurant again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dont waste your money or time here. I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and they literally put down a plastic bottle of grocery store sauce in front of.me. Poor quality food, and the wine was severed hot (how does that even happen?)
Also, when I went to the toilets, the only functioning one had no lock and the toilet was full of s**t.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is definitely underrated! I happened to stumble by it for it is situated right in the center of town in Guanajuato. Such a lovely place. The staff is super friendly and helpful, plus one of them speaks English. So I was able to make requests for my fish dish, for less rice and more vegetables. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable - this main course dish I ordered is 170 pesos. They open late, so happy to find real food for this night owl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was fast. We ordered guacamole & chips, chicken fajitas, and green posole. To drink lemonade & water. Service was fast. Food was hot & good. Sat outside listening to street musicians and watching the churches light up.

Enchiladas are ok but not the best I had. Pollo con mole was really nice. They gave us tortillas extra, bread and tortillas de mais.
Is nice place, but the tables are so low, if you are tall or medium size persone eat outside on the terras.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location with bad service. It took more than 45 min for our drinks and that was after I asked for them twice. We had enchiladas and those were okay, but the pozole was salty AF. I try to be patient and considerate, because I’ve worked in the restaurant industry when younger, but the experience at this particular establishment was not the best. This place definitely does not represent our food and culture.
