★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly, this place used to be a house. Today, it could house a great part of the population of Oaxaca.
This is Cantábrico, signs say, but I can't tell if Cantábrico is a store in this building or the building itself.
The building is a Mexican historical, the site where in 1813 a famous speech was written. I think if I had a house this nice and this huge and this so nicely located, I'd write a good speech too.
A plaque on the building says:
"José María Morelos y Pavón
SE ALOJO EN ESTA CASA DEL 26 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1812 AL 9 DE FEBRERO DE 1813,REDACTO:
"Sentimientos de la Nación"
