★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a late breakfast and stayed for hours. We got some decent food and then rented snorkeling equipment (in good condition!) and had a blast using el capi as a home base. They even let us borrow the snorkel stuff to go to the next bay over which was nice of them. The next bay over has sea turtles and we saw one. Completely magical. Happy to recommend el capi! Very nice people on the quieter side of the bay. Also their dog, dori, is adorable we loved her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service and people are awesome! The food is delicious! We had such a great experience here that we decided to come again. They also have beach chairs and cabanas right on the beach. You’ll have to drive past all the other restaurants and people trying to flag you into their restaurant. You’ll find this place at the very end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place. We ended up here by coincidence on our first visit of San Augustín beach and we are so glad we did. I think it’s the best restaurant around and it’s the only one on the “unspoiled” left side of the beach. We watched the touristic crowds from afar and enjoyed several different dishes (tuna teriyaki, lobster, crepes) which were all delicious. Special mention goes out to Francisco who is not just a great waiter but an amazing host. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot on the beach! It’s on the quiet and more beautiful end of the bay. Friendly service, delicious cocktails, and amazing seafood! The ceviche, guacamole, seafood stew, and grilled mahi mahi were all top notch!

This place is a hidden jewel since it is at the end of the road but worth finding it. The scenery was gorgeous. This place caters to making sure you are taken care of. El Capi is kept in good condition and most of all very clean. We will definitely come back here.
