A fav spot for mexican food. do not leave if it's busy, it is worth it. the service was very helpful and observant. it has a nice interior. menu is like a place in san francisco i loved.

I loved there baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream and bacon bits. You have the option of adding meat also.

Hidden gem in Piedras. Great food

Walking to our table, I noticed the kitchen slicing up a pork roast and I told our waiter I wanted three corn tacos of that meat. Only 3 tacos on one plate now; before we ordered other items. He took our drink order and went to the kitchen. When he returned with our drinks; I ordered one beef burrito for my son and asked, “How about the tacos?” He said OK and then waited on another table who were just seated. Passing by I asked again about the three tacos, as we looked over the menu. Soon he brought us 3 plates with 4 tacos on each plate. I told him to take it back; that is not what we ordered. He seemed offended, but took it back. Next thing the owner appears to confront us why we were sending the plates back and I told him your waited does not understand Spanish or English. We have been here 25 minutes, there is only one other dinner present and I want only 3 tacos on a plate. (My son had finished his burrito long ago.) Go tell your kitchen to get with it. He became belligerent; so we walked out without paying!

My spouse and I have been having lunch at El Carbon Grill for the past five months. We enjoy the plate specials offered from 12:00 - 17:00. Have probably eaten there around ten times during this five month period. We sit at the same table and are waited on by the same waiter.

Good food as always, been going here for years ever since I was little. Very friendly staff and service. Love the limonada the most
