★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Catalonia's little and charming place in Guadalajara, like a half away from Chapultepec Avenue.
The owners, a couple made by a Mexican and a Catalan, run the restaurant as an extension of his own house.
The menu has traditional food from the region, like butifarra with Spanish beans or the rabbit made with white wine; but it also has something knew to offer to the customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very real and authentic, run by a husband and wife; husband cooks. Wife spoke great English and explained every dish to us. The menu changes depending on what they are serving with lots of choices. Great "slow" food. Modest and unpretentious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dropped in for dinner last week and were greeted with hospitality and treated to fabulous salad and paella. I think I licked the pan. We sat on the porch under the fans and enjoyed the neighborhood passing by. Good wine and I look forward to trying other dishes. We'll be back!

Tapas with jamón serrano very high quality
The wines are decent.
A few suggestions — use the wine glass with the standard shape instead of the mini. The mini glass cup feels like wine they serve at fast food restaurants or places that don’t really serve much wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far my favorite restaurant in Guadalajara. Run by a very nice husband and wife team (Eduardo and Helga) the food is absolutely amazing! The paella is one of the best I have ever had and I've had plenty around the world. Also, whenever they have it you must try the goat milk cheesecake. My partner and I have been here a good number of times since arriving, attempting to try everything in their menu, and are never disappointed.
