★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno de los barrios más antiguos de la ciudad, con casonas viejas y calles empedradas, cuenta con vistas espectaculares del centro y valle de la ciudad, cerca de este barrio se encuentra el mercado Jose Castillo Tielmans, también se encuentra la iglesia de Santo Domingo muy cerca y existen varios negocios de comida en el mismo barrio. Sin duda debes de recorrerlo y conocer sus rincones mágicos.
 One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, with old houses and cobbled streets, it has spectacular views of the center and valley of the city, near this neighborhood is the Jose Castillo Tielmans market, there is also the church of Santo Domingo very nearby and there are several food businesses in the same neighborhood. Without a doubt you must visit it and get to know its magical corners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you like watching people this church with it's large plaza offer some of the best people watching in all of San Cristobal, Chiapaz. in the AM people are hurrying to school, work and here and there. you can sit on the benches and be in shade and watch the light, change on Huitepec, a reserve of 110 hectares to the west and all of the people coming and going. the central mercado is just two blocks away. PAZ

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Neighborhood in San Cristóbal. So wonderful to explore and get a sense of a real neighborhood in a colonial Town. Enjoy taking pictures of lovely streets, views from step, street art, facades of houses...great vibe and colors. You can find some nice places to eat also and Na Bolom Museum is in El Cerrillo
