One of the best quality- and somehow expensive- but well worth it tacos and mexican food restaurants in the city's south. Portions are big, ingredients are fresh and the service and amenities are top notch. Highly recommended !

Our family’s most favorite Al Pastor and Chorizo taco taqueria. The tamarind water is so rich and the guacamole is one of the best in town! Super clean and polite service.

First meal in Mexico City, it was yummy and recommended by local friends, one of an authentic Mexico foods! The free candies are also impressive and interesting!

After food tasting in Hong Kong and Boston, I came back to Mexico City where the constant smell of taqueria and street vendors roam the city. Accompanied by my local host, we came to try one of the most popular taco restaurants in the city, where the we waited about 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. The first thing to notice is it’s yellow and orange decor which gives off a vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant’s name is Frog in a little pond, which from the outside you can see two frog statues, and there are a few more stores in the city. I asked my host to take the liberty to order whatever they think I should try and boy, was that a good decision. The tacos coming minutes after ordering and I couldn’t finish my taco in my hands to see plate after plate being served. Most of them I do no recall the names, but my best advise is to show them the pictures and tell them thats what you want to try. Best of all, order a fresh man cup of Horchada to go with your tacos, that’s authentic Mexican cuisine. I love Taco Bell from America, but this is the real deal. ?Must order? - Horchada: the Cinnamon milk drink - All different kinds of Tacos . ?Score (five star scale): ?Environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ?Services: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ?Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ?Price: USD $15-20/person

El Charco is a México City tradition for delicious 'tacos al pastor'. For more than 30 years I've been visiting this place, and I've never nbeen disappointed. Attention and cleanliness are excellent. Because of its popularity it can be crowded at times, but the wait is worth it!

My favorite pastor tacos in Mexico City if I’m honest! The taco is 43 pesos but is so worth it! Great quality! I love this place! I come very often when I really want good tacos! I recommend this spot! The taco pastor is my fav but the other ones are good too, quesadillas are bomb and the frijoles too! Many options on their menu!
