★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our fishing trip was tons of fun. We really enjoyed our captain and first mate. Only thing I can caution against is not to let them talk you into mounting the fish. We were told we would pay x amount of dollars that day and x amount of dollars in 3 months. No additional fees would be added, etc. Now that it has been mounted, the company who does the mounting is wanting to charge us double. If I had to do it again, I would have thrown that thing right back in the ocean. Would have gotten 5 stars had it not been for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did 2 tours, a whale watching and a bottom fishing. Both were with Capt. Johnny. He speaks little English but enough to be helpful. Both trips well worth doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our vacation was one to be remembered. This resort is absolutely stunning. Plus we have three others available to us within the El cid package. Everyone in the staff were so pleasant and friendly and always willing to help. We were lucky enough to know someone with a timeshare with this resort. I will be coming back! Loved it SO much. Clean, bright and no complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a perfect day! We saw a Humpback Whale breach on our way out to sea. Not long after we started fishing, we caught a huge striped Marlin. Later on, we caught a large Mahi Mahi. Our crew on The Aries II, Armando and Jose, we're phenomenal. They were very accommodating, the boat was clean. We would never have been able to handle such large fish without their expertise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a 3 hour yacht cruise - saw whales, enjoyed cheeses, meats, fruit and champagne provided for the 6 of us. We also watched an AWESOME sunset. Captain Santino was excellent! It was well worth it! Yacht was clean and VERY comfortable!
