El Cielo Country Club - El Palomar

total chaos we booked a T -time for 9.20am , arrived 20 minutes before , and then had to wait until 10.00am to T off. At the first T we are told that there are no caddies, and you do need a caddy if you have not played this course before. We see a group of Five on the T box , three out of could not get a ball past the ladies T box. We are continually held up, only to find out that there is a group of 5 in front of our preceding group of 5. The Marshall does nothing , just says it was the "starters" decision. The first green is covered with leaves, as are other greens too close to trees. We finish our round at 4.00pm, a total of six hours. Then we run the gauntlet of staff trying to help us, and carry our bags, etc, our car has been driven down the road to a car park, so that has to be fetched, and of course tips paid and then we discover that there is a car park fee as well. Amazing. NEVER AGAIN, readers take my advice go elsewhere.

Favorite course in Guad. Usually in great shape. Nice layout at over 7000ft elevation. Monday's there is a reduced rate special. Good food also.

I brought my wife here for her first time ever playing golf. Carlos, our caddy, was excellent and was able to give me some great tips and also help my wife learn much better than I could have taught her. We certainly plan on coming back when we visit Guadalajara again. The course is beautiful by the way. Thank you Carlos!

Considered living here. One of my favorite golf courses in the world. Ask for our favorite Caddy, Carlos. He always gives great golfing tips!

Beautiful landscape tricky course service is great, members not so much if near by try it out will not dissapoint the pictures speak for themselves

Amazing views, great club, and very pricey. Downside, they don't take international cards to pay. Only Mexican cards, Mexican pesos, or dollars with a fair rate. Had a great time!
