My wife and I ate at El Coleguita Mariscos restaurant in Nuevo Vallarta on November 16/21. Our first experience eating at this place. Alonzo was our server and he was a professional young man working hard on his English to make our time there very enjoyable. The coconut shrimp and chicken Fajitas were well prepared and tasty. The pricing for the meals were reasonable also. I mentioned to the manager how happy we were with Alonzo and the meal. All staff were kind and patient even though they were busy. We recommend experiencing this restaurant for yourselves. You will not be disappointed. Sherri & Arnie

Everything was so delicious! Best seafood ever, I ordered coconut shrimp, it was yummy! I will definitely come back!

Come hungry. The prices here are a bit high for the location and quality of the restaurant, but the portions are absolutely massive. A margarita comes in a glass the size of a dinner plate, and each dish comes with a plethora of sides. The server was very nice and tried to help us through the menu with the English he knew.

Stop looking for places around Riviera Nayarit. This is the spot to have fresh seafood and amazing service. There's a chance you may have to wait about 15-25 min to get a table but the wait is worth it. My whole family loved it. For a bunch of reasons 1. Our waiter Guidian was on top of everything and he makes sure you get what you want however you want it and if you come back more than twice he'll learn what you like and how you like your food. Ask for this dude. he will treat you like a VIP 2. Let valet parking take your car and don't worry about it, they do a great job 3. Drinks; they welcome you with a shot of tequila and if you want more they won't say no, so go for it. Drinks are great and huge so take it easy cuz you'll get tipsy out of nowhere 4. Food; the BEST food in Puerto Vallarta/nuevo Vallarta/Bucerías area Crown of the jewel: the coconut shrimp Or the camaron momia which is bacon wrapped shrimp. And I'm not talking about the pathetic little shrimp I get in Florida, I'm talking about huge shrimp. If you feeling adventurous try the agua Chile Verde but be careful cuz it can be very spicy. Overall this place it's a gem you need to check out

Loved the vibe. The drinks were MASSIVE and the food was unreal. I had the premium shrimp combo and they were the biggest shrimp we have ever seen! My husband had the shrimp ceviche and it was so delicious and refreshing. Highly recommend

I'm not going to lie, I was attracted to go here because I heard of free tequila shots. When we were not offered any, we went with the flow and ordered up shrimp ceviche and fish "al pastor" tacos. The taste and value of the food made up for any lack of tequila. The tacos in particular, were out of this world with flavor! No Uber service so to get back we had to wave down a cab.

This is an amazing spot for seafood. Incredible service with large portions. The pineapple sauce was mind blowing together with the coconut shrimp. Huge drinks, free shots and shrimp broth was the icing on the cake. Our server, Alonso was a class act hailing a taxi for us as well.

We came all the way here from CDMX for a family trip, hoping to eat lobsters. The first time we visited this place, they ran out of lobsters so we had big shrimps(they were delicious too).The manager assured us that they will have lobsters the next day, so we just had to visit again the next day! The lobsters we had were so fresh that the flesh easily removed from its shell. They were absolutely stunning. The staffs were very friendly and the service was great. I will visit again!
