Asegúrense de hablar con él. Unfortunately we invested 4 hours and traveled more than 280 km and we did NOT visit El Corchal, due to the lack of clarity of communication with Don Pepe. Make sure you talk to him.

No sólo quedamos cautivados con la belleza de éste lugar único, escondido y afortunadamente poco conocido, sino por todas las cosas que aprendimos de la selva, las plantas y los animales en la caminata previa. Es una excursión atípica, fuera de las tradicionales, en donde se establecen vínculos con la naturaleza y aprendemos lo que vale y lo necesario que es cuidarla. Busco siempre éste tipo de experiencias, las que se quedan grabadas a fuego en mi mente y que aún recordándolas siguen provocando que se me erice la piel. Super recomendado! We met this wonderful place at the hands of Gilberto, an excellent interpreter guide. We are not only captivated by the beauty of this unique place, hidden and fortunately little known, but by all the things we learned from the jungle, plants and animals in the previous walk. It is an atypical excursion, out of the traditional, where links with nature are established and we learn what is worth and how necessary it is to take care of it. I always look for this type of experiences, those that stay etched in my mind and that even remembering them, they keep making my skin crawl. Super recommended!

Es un lugar maravilloso, con fauna y flora como no la había visto. Hay tucanes en estado salvaje!! An incomparable place. The guides are people from the town and are highly trained for visiting the site. It is a wonderful place, with fauna and flora like I have never seen. There are toucans in the wild !!

They are the nicest family and love nature so much. Would highly recommend. Also, you will need to know some Spanish or Maya to enjoy this experience.
