★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pedimos tortas y tenían muy poco guisado, al llegar el mesero nos quiso asignar una mesa diferente a la que elegimos porque según esa estaba reservada pero nosotros llamamos al lugar antes para hacer reservación y nos dijeron que no había reservas que cómo llegáramos se asigna mesa, las bebidas bien, el servicio bien, estacionamiento no había.
 We ordered cakes and they had very little stew, when we arrived the waiter wanted to assign us a different table than the one we chose because according to that it was reserved but we called the place before to make a reservation and they told us that there were no reservations that how we got there a table is assigned, the drinks were good, the service was good, there was no parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We saw a review about this restaurantrestaurant from the local government office. They gave them high praises due to their "torta de pierna" so we decided to try them.
We walked into the restaurant that's in the main zócalo just to sit there waiting for the lady cook to get off her phone and take care of us. Another employee kept giving her the "look" so she could get her butt in gear without avail. So we got up and left to the other restaurant on Reforma between 5th and 7th Sur.
Those employees there were on the ball, the establishment is very cozy and clean. All the employees were courteous and busy doing something productive. Many patrons seem to just show up and the employees know who they are and what they want. That's a great crew.
We got our torta de pierna and it was excellent! I highly recommend it but only from the Reforma store.
Avoid the zócalo location, the place is bland, bad service and it is a bit rundown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is always really good selection of typical mexican and Spanish food, also the tap beer is delicious. Last time I was there we ask for a glass of wine and it was a Rioja wine which was very tasty. Waiters are really nice and very attentive. Great place to spent it with family, friends or even by yourself.
