View and amenities are pretty nice. The snorkeling service for 1 hour is bad, they won’t give it to you if they decide there’s bad weather even its cam as a lake. The building is somewhat old but kept up. The bed was comfortable and clean however the couch smelled funny and was stained, we did not touch the couch at all. The biggest problem was the buffet food and lack of alcoholic beverages options. The buffet is absolutely terrible, my dog can cook better food by opening a can of beans. However you can order food a la carte without extra cost and its much better, however it takes a while.

Rene the server was great!! This was our second stay and we will be going back. Room had a musty smell, but for the price it was definitely worth it. I recommend that you fix the hot tubs because in January the pool water is quite cold. The kids club was closed due to Covid which was disappointing. The snorkeling daily was amazing. The sit down restaurant was extremely delicious. Wish we had more options in the other restaurant. We brought our own coffee pot and coffee because the rooms do not have coffee or coffee pots. You have to go down to the lobby to get coffee in the morning. All rooms face the ocean even the Gardenview rooms so it is definitely worth it to save money and get a garden view room they are the rooms on the first and second floors. We stayed in room 1206 and the shower water was leaking constantly. Just an FYI for the hotel manager. It did not bother us. The shower is very large has hot water. Also appreciate the beach toys and stand toys that were loaned out as well as the mini putt putt golf. My family had a blast and as I said before we will be returning in the near future. Just an FYI please expect to tip as they do expect them. And bring cash because there is no ATM anywhere near the resort that works at least. We had to go into town and use an ATM and it cost like eight dollars per transaction.

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are a little dated, but we were not it it very much anyway. Snorkeling right at the resort was fun. Buffet food was fine, but ordering from the menu was really good. Very nice employees too. I will definitely go back!

If I could put a negative star rating I would. Took 3 hours PAST check in time to get our room. 95% of the food is not eatable. The lady handling the food tried to use to the same tongs she used for raw pork to serve the cooked pork. We had to walk away. We told the front desk. They did nothing. There is a menu you can order from the buffet. Which is never available. All the food in the buffet is left overs from the night before masked as another new dish. The women staff seem to hate it there and they're service shows it. The men try to keep it light and they are better servers. They rooms are awful. Feels like an old hospital. The air conditioners are so loud you cant sleep. Our tv didn't work. They came to fix them. Only replaced the tv. I had another booking here for 2 additional nights I had to cancel. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

Let me start off by saying that this review is not a reflection of the staff at all, the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel itself is very pretty and the view/beach area is absolutely gorgeous, but the one thing keeping this place for being better is the food. As a Hispanic who has travelled to other parts of Mexico, throughout Central and South America I was expecting Mexico’s extravagant gastronomy to be showcased but unfortunately the majority of the dishes including the Mexican cuisine are poorly seasoned, presented and executed. If you are a fan of Mexican cuisine you will be extremely disappointed, like I am. I would RECOMMEND staying at this resort for the view and amenities, but you might want to consider having meals at local restaurants such as the Hemingway Lounge. Of course you get what you pay for so if you want five star meals stay at a five star hotel. If you just want a pretty place to stay for two or three days then it’s perfect!

After reading all the scathing reviews about this resort, we decided to to chance it anyway. Our 3 nights at the resort were awesome and felt it was "great value for the money" The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent for the most part and the amenities were outstanding. Admittedly, the rooms are dated & the towels are not of the highest quality..but all very clean & good enough. We had no problems whatsoever, that would lead us to even think of writing anything as negative as the above mentioned reviews-we could not understand what they were all based on. Perhaps those people had been sold unrealistic expectations by their tour operator? We were more than happy. We want to give a big shout out to just a few of the many staff who were awesome...Carlos & Manuel(waiters), Marisol(pool waitress), Beatrix(buffet restaurant), Luisa(omelette chef extraordinaire) & Victoria(3rd floor room attendant). We repeat "This was very good value for money" '

Amazing views and a perfect spot to come snorkeling. The rooms are kept clean. The property is somewhat dated but kept up nicely. We can't say enough about the views. Unfortunately, the staff I'm not as friendly as what we're used to. That service takes a long time. This might be as they're not running at fulls steam due to the covid restriction. The biggest downfall is the food it really needs some work. We're not super picky eaters and went into town to get food in the end.

This was my first time in Cozumel and overall I was very impressed! All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The resort was very pristine with clean rooms and pool areas. As other reviews have said the food is not fantastic. It isn't bad by any means, it just gets repetitive and can be bland. The drinks are always very good (both alcoholic and non), as were the desserts. The beach at the resort was stunning with gorgeous sand and pristine water. The only other minor inconvenience was the distance from the town. We spent most of our time at the resort so it was not a big deal, but it could get expensive paying for taxis to and from town.
