★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're brought here on a tour, like I was, just say thank you and sit it out, unless you're really really hungry. Although the food is aplenty, it's really lacking in flavour, dry, or burned. You're much better off taking a sandwich from Oxxo with you on the tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were brought here on a guided tour, so this restaurant wasn't my choice. At first, the restaurant seems pretty nice with a wide variety of food. There is a grilled section where you can get chorizo, grilled agave etc. I had three chorizos that tasted quite good. BUT, after a few hours I got a bad case of heartburn and intestinal problems. I usually never have such problems, which can only mean that the meat is poor quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap. Unfortunately the tour forced us to stop here. Plates are broken, mantels are dirty, overall service is bad. Expensive prices. Food is average but pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took a Hierve el Agua tour and our guide stopped us here. Everything we had was amazing in this buffet and even the mezcal cocktails was so yummy. So much variety for the Oaxaca traditional mole salad salsa Gravy and the highlight was the tamales!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a tour to Yerbe el agua. Part of the tour was to stop to eat before getting to Yerba el agua. The food was traditional oaxaqueñan plates. Great food with amazing people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusting buffet! Most tours will have this destination for food. Food is 165 pesos+10% propina included in the bill. Any drinks will cost additionally. They have entrées and hot food, as well as a section for grilled meat (only serving one kind of meat and chorizo).
The grilled meat section was the most horrible part, the barbecue looks incredibly filthy, knives and plates are dirty, anything that falls on the ground will be used directly, meats come out of plastic bags raw, and have no taste... As whole, it seems except for the abuela cooking the tortilla, no one has any love for their jobs or foods.
If you care for your life, avoid at all costs!
