★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first restaurant in Cancun and oh boy did they set the standards for the others to follow. The main restaurant area was beautifully lit and inviting. The dishes we had were all full of flavor and color. The service was great and waiters were friendly. We stayed a little bit longer for the live band who too were great. Overall a great start to our trip. Definitely would go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For our last night in Cancun my wife wanted to someplace “nice” and eat shellfish. We decided on el fish and they did not disappoint. Service was attentive but with a personal touch.
I had the tuna and fish tostadas and enjoyed them with the salsas that were served. The habanero salsa is delicious but be careful with it. Less is more.
My wife had the chocolate clams and the crab chilpachole. Is a seafood stew made with crab. If you like shellfish and Mexican food order the chilpachole. Chocolate clams are served fresh (raw) and they always make my wife happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a shame after what was a very lovely evening. This was a fancy restaurant with friendly staff. However, the experience was immediately ruined when we found shark meat being served on the menu. There is no excuse for this in 2022, especially when one of the main sources of income for tourism in Mexico has to be their stunning marine life. Perhaps the management are unaware of how important this issue is to our future and we would be more than happy to amend our review in the event this menu is changed in the future. We explained this issue to the waitress who was understanding and I do hope the management can take the time to research this topic so they can do better than to harm endangered species going forward. Thank you
